    Hey, yep, we arranged for one the night we arrive. We had Pilar reserve a section of Carnival for us at no charge (no special service or anything, just a sectioned off area in the restaurant and a guaranteed reservation). I also have read on here somewhere that she will reserve a section of the lobby for people- one bride did ask about chips and salsa or something, but I haven't seen that confirmed.

    Good question! My FI bought personalized cuff links for our dads and I'm in charge of the moms. I think earrings for mine, and a pandora charm for his. We also might take care of an excursion for them, but that's all depending on budget, so we'll know closer to then....so hard!!

    Ladies (& past brides) I was hoping to pick your brain a bit about the floor plan for the Bamboo Room...We have 43 people eating dinner...this includes a wedding party of 15. I think it would look stupid to have a head table of that many people when the remaining guests are almost an equal #. Anthony and I are really struggling with this - add to that a few bridesmaid-zillas, and I'm getting super stressed! In your experience, what works best in that room? I kind of like the idea of one big table, where we can all be seated together, but is the room big enough to accommodate a table for 43 people? We don't really want to do the sweetheart table thing, since it excludes the rest of the wedding party, and I don't personally love the look of multiple rounds either. Ahhhh, help! I know it's only for an hour and then we dance, but I have a people-pleasing condition, so I'm freakin about trying not to tick anyone off. And of course i have one bridesmaid aka frenemy who's making the rounds, trashing me to my sister, my other BMs, saying she might as well not have bought a dress if she was going to be treated as a regular guest- this is after i talked about possibly having only our MOH and BM stand with us at the front of the pergola, as the pics i've seen dont really look that spacious, so everyone would be crammed like sardines at the front. my idea was o have everyone walk down, and then take a seat in the front row. Well, apparently this is a huge problem for her. Unbeknownst to me, until my sister told me on the wknd. I coud just cry, i try do hard to please everyone and just cant frickin win. Anyway, wah wah, poor me. But I just need some advice! xo

    Can I also add-- it makes me feel so much better, hearing everyone else stress about the costs adding up...misery loves company, I guess LOL!

    Pilar told us, 3 meals, TOTAL. So we chose 2 entrees (beef and shrimp, scallops and Mahi mahi), and then a vegetarian option. We are sticking w dessert, but not increasing the cake #

    Hi Dutchie, i don't think swapping the meals is possible, unless you've opted for the higher priced pkg- ie. we're doing the divine pkg, so Pilar said we could choose anything from the divine menus, or we ould use anything in any lower priced pkg. but as far as I know, it doesn't work the opposite way.

    Absolutely! I can't even BELIEVE how fast the time is going! I am starting to enter panic mode here LOL! I don't know what I'd do without all you girls, the support is fantastic and I can't wait to see andf hear all about your special days!!! Cheers, Kristen

    Oh, the First Dance....the bain of our existence. We are having a really hard time! As fo the Father-Daughter, what is the etiquette for that? Do I choose, or does my Dad? If I had my way, I'd choose "God Only Knows" by The Beach Boys, because it reminds me of my childhood, being at the cottage with my parents I also originally wanted Jackie Wilson's "Higher & Higher", but it's just too fast, and I couldn't find a slooooower version to dance to ;-)
