Hoping to bring this thread back to life. Anyone else out there incorporating starfish into their weddings? Here are the invitations we've made and are hoping to keep the starfish theme going.

I've been working on getting used to making a logo in word. What do you guys think? Good? Bad? Improvements? Anyone else having trouble incorporating colours? Ours are aqua, yellow & tan... the yellow is tough without using a coloured background...

Haha! Exactly what I thought when I saw mine. I love it now though. I think it's like choosing a wedding dress, you have something in your head that you think that you want, but you may end up with something totally different and be thrilled.

Thanks so much for the kind works ladies. I think you're right that seeing so many other brides to be in beautiful dresses made me question my own choice, but what works on other people may not necessarily work on you and some of the remorse as well I think came from just the sadness that the whole dress buying experience is over. Although I still have the whole dress altering experience ahead of me

When using the recolor tool, anyone know how to vary the preset colors of the actual element in your picture rather than the background. I have palm tree clipart and can change the color of it if I use the preset colors, but if I go to "other color variations" any that I choose are only applied to the background...

I thought about lash tinting as well, but am fearful about doing any chemical treatments near my eyes. I've never even heard of semi-permanent eyelashes. Let me know what your spa says. Barefoot sandals, semi-permanent eyelashes... this wedding has opened my eyes to so many things I didn't even know existed!

Great tips everyone! What's everyone's feelings on wearing fake eyelashes? Not like big, long porno ones, but my lashes are so short and never seem to stay curled...

You can also get some good deals on these tumblers at Bed Bath and Beyond when they go on clearance. I agree about not waiting to purchase these it seems like you see them everywhere for a few months and then they vanish.

I kinda like the subdued colour combination. I agree with tkuzma though. It seems like the trailing orchids aren't hanging as nicely as the ones in the inspiration pic. It's like the stems are too stiff or something. Wow, your wedding is super close! Exciting!

I love VSQ songs as well! So many of the arrangements are so pretty.

I've been listening to potential music all afternoon This after my initial playlist was apparently "so depressing it was going to make everyone jump into the pool & try to drown themselves" according to my boyfriend. Haha, I guess I'm looking for some more upbeat ceremony songs. Admittedly I do have a soft spot for mega sappy songs. I'm interested in what you guys had in mind.
