  1. STDs should be sent out about 8 months before the wedding. Some brides have been sending them a year or more out. This way you give your guests an opportunity to save up finances as well as plan ahead in terms of vacation time. It is up to you- but I would at least give a heads up to the people closest to you. The more notice you give people, the better! Formal invitations should be sent out about 3 months prior to the wedding. There are already quite a few threads about this. Just search "When to send out invitations" in the search bar at the top.
  2. I absolutely love your circle logo. Did you have that made or make it yourself? I attempted making a similar one but I think I need some professional help!
  3. Love TTD Photos! These all turned out beautiful!
  4. I love the idea of having your logo look like a postmark stamp- ties in to the whole travel theme. Ive been trying to make one on my own but no luck so far. Yours looks great!
  5. Thanks for sharing those- The flip flops don't fit in with my theme but I like the drawstring bags too!
  6. Great Job! Just counting down the posts until Ill be able to enjoy everyones templates!!
  7. I attending a wedding in Playa del Carmen in April 2011- it was the week before Easter, so prime spring break time. We stayed at a All Inclusive Adults only (16+) resort. It wasn't as crazy with spring breakers as I thought it would be. Actually, a majority of the people we met at the resort were vacationing from Europe. I believe that things are more expensive during Feb-April just because it is the high season. If you are looking for budget-friendly, consider moving to November. Rates are much lower then because it is technically the end of hurricane season. Good luck with planning!
  8. Thank you, thank you, thank you for asking this. I was recently wondering the same thing and ended up googling answers- boy, did I get a lot of different responses. Its good to know Im not the only wedding-clueless one out there!
  9. Congratulations! It's never too early to let people know- so they can save up money and vacation time!
