  1. Can I ask a stupid question...If you already have all your guests booked - why do you need invitations? what are you putting in them? I didn't realize we were supposed to. I sent save the dates and then everyone booked. ... am I missing something super obvious?
  2. Hey Lauren - I'm going with Dreams too! They didn't send me photos of past hair styles. You thought it was good? that's a relief!!!!
  3. Where did you find these luggage tags? Great idea!
  4. So you used ziploc bags.. put your meds etc in it. then put the cardstock and folded it over top and stapled it to the bag?
  5. OOH thanks - I think I'm going to do this! Good for album for us and for my parents as gift perhaps?
  6. I called a bunch of dollar tree stores in Washington and they were all sold out or hadn't even heard of them. I ended up just putting in an order for bags from Wedding Chicks website. They have a sale on so I bought cotton totes for $5 each. I'm not a DIY person and I figured I'm late in the process for scrounging around.... and these are cute and a bit personal (without having our name on them) so maybe... people will use them again. maybe. I got the text in Plum but liked the tiffany blue too. Here is the link to the items that are on sale. http://shop.weddingchicks.com/weekly-specials/
  7. For honeyfund tho - do you HAVE to know what you are doing for your honeymoon? Glad your shower was a success!
  8. Hey Lauren, I am getting married on Nov 20th so just a bit after you!! You are way ahead of me in planning tho! Who is doing your hair and make-up? Dreams or Neysa or that other person that everyone talks about on here. And DJ? Who did you decide on?
  9. One of the best things that ever happened to me (weight-wise) was I found out I was gluten intolerant! I should have known bc I've dealt with stomach aches all my life - just never put it together with wheat... you wouldn't believe what wheat is in (EVERYTHING!). So I cheat on soya sauce etc but have reallly tried to be good lately. What this means is I'm not near as bad as I would normally be. No pizza, pasta, bread.... Someone asked what to eat: Breakfast - I alternate between steel cut oats (make on a sunday and have in the fridge for the week) with frozen berries (costco), OR greek yoghurt (0%) also from costco, or eggs/scrambled with veggies (I even do this at work - bring 2 eggs to the office, put in the microwave with spinach or other veg and heat for 1.25 minutes). I can't get organized enough to eat a big breafast in the a.m. so this gets a good breaky in. Lunch - leftovers!! whatever veggie/protein you make the night before - make an extra chicken breast and put it on a salad for the next day! Or I make a big soup on the weekends for quick meals during the week. Veggies (everything), veggie or chicken broth (low sodium), lentils etc. Then if I am going out at night with friends - I have a bowl of this before I go so that I'm not starving and tempted at a restuarant!! Hope this is helpful.....now if I could only stay away from the M&Ms..........
  10. Oh no really? I was planning on heading to the US on Friday to find them....
