Hello ladies! Loving all the comments on the board, I've been checking every few days and really should post more! I did want to let those of you who might be interested know that I got a final 'NO' on using the dock at Moon Palace for boat after the wedding. Before I booked and asked about it, it was a maybe and now it's a no. Oh well! We're planning to rent our own boat for the day now for a snorkel trip for everyone. If anyone has any opinions/advise on this, please let me know!

I don't know anyone who has done this before, but I know they used to have a boat that went over to Isla Mujeres for transport and they used the Moon Palace dock. When my FI and I were deciding where to book, the one thing with Palace that he really liked was the option that they used to have to do the sunset cruise with a wedding package. Unfortunetly, they don't do this one anymore & it was only out of Isla Mujeres (which we couldn't stay at because we have kids coming). My travel agent said she spoke to someone when we originally booked about the possibility of renting a boat for after the wedding and using the dock. She said they'd have to check into it but it should be a good possibility, only thing is we'd have to pay out of pocket to the boat company (which I was already expecting to do). Like most everything else though, we booked back in October and I still don't have information one way or another for using thier dock! I haven't seen the catamaran rental on trip advisor, I'll have to check it out. Ideally, we wanted to do a sunset cruise after the wedding and before dinner, but I don't think there will be enough time if everyone has to get on a bus to get to the boat. Ahh, so much to figure out! But I'm so glad there's someone else looking into this as well, I thought I was alone on the idea!

I have been trying to get this information as well, with no luck so far. I think this would be amazing to do instead of a private function! Moon Palace has a dock & I'm hoping to rent the boat and board directly from thier dock instead of having to take a bus somewhere. I just got assigned to Beatriz as well, but won't be able to talk with her until sometime late February. I'm sp happy you've said she's helpful. I'm also just happy she's agreed to answer questions for me early at all (my wedding isn't until October). Hello Ladies! I'm still new - I've read a lot but haven't posted much (which I'll try to get better about!). I thought this was definitely post-worthy - I got an email from my travel agent about an announcement just released today from Palace Resorts that they are now working with Colin Cowie and have all new wedding packages available! http://www.palaceresorts.com/weddings/weddingcollection/default-en.html After a quick look, it looks like these are more expensive than most of the packages they had on their website before, and I'm not sure if they still have the old ones available for those of us who are already booked. Definitely have some questions to ask them!
