    I am skipping the traditional guest book and doing a "Make a wish, Take a wish" jars. I found booklets at Michaels that have cute love/life sayings in it, so i rolled them up like little scrolls for people to take after they have left a little note for us.

    I am doing the ostrich feather centerpieces and when I told my WC about it she said it wouldnt be a problem they just requested that they be put together for them to place on the table

    I originally was planning to do flowers but them I saw these starfish ones and thought they went with the theme better. I priced them out online and the cheapest I could find was $17 a piece so I decided to make them instead. Now I am not a crafty person at all so that should have been my first inkling to just buy them but I still tried and they turned out just as nice as the ones I saw online. And I was able to personalize them a little more by adding fuscia tool. 2 done...only have 6 more to go!

    Heres my topper and I absolutely love it. Ordered it from toppers with glitz...they were so helpful with choosing colors and keeping me updated. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for something like this.

    I couldnt decide on colors but once I saw this bouquet I knew my colors had to be fuschia and orange so I could have this bouquet.

    I really wanted to do small vases of flowers but when my WC told me how much it was going to be I decided to start looking into other options. After looking at picture and picture of centerpieces I finally found one that I loved as much as the small vases of flowers....and the price was more reasonable. I ordered fuschia and orange feathers with the white vases that will light up. I ordered 12 of them in different heights so we can alternate them. Cant wait to see everything come together that day!

    I am doing fuschia and tangerine...and some hints of green (more of a peridot kinda green). I found this bouquet and fell in love with it so it was my inspiration.

    I checked with our resort and shipping was not an option. So looks like we will be lugging everything down there....and our families will too! Only issue we will be facing is what to do with everything after the wedding because we are flying right to Hawaii for our honeymoon. I suppose most of the decorations can be left behind in Mexico but it will be sad to see our ostrich feather centerpieces stay behind

    We are probably going to have about 25 bags so the easiest way to distribute them to our guests will be to have the resort place them in each couples room...but of course this comes with a $5 per bag fee.
