I just attended a Webinar for Now Sapphire and I know they said that sky lanterns are not allowed ~ not sure if those are the same thing as Chinese lanterns or not though.

Hello Brides (and Grooms)~ So, my fiance and I have been looking and looking (and looking and looking) and we have FINALLY decided on a location for our destination wedding! We are both super excited about getting married at Now Sapphire ~ 4/27/13. I'll admit that I read all 29 pages of this thread today, and I am so excited to have such a fantastic resource! I feel so much better knowing that there are other Now Sapphire brides I'll be able to communicate with over the next year of planning!!

Hey Moderncosmo1~ I'm from AZ too (well, I live here now ~ not FROM here ~ anyway) my fiance and I are planning on booking our wedding at Now Sapphire too! We are planning for 4/13. Who did you use for a travel agent that you were able to get your room for free?? We are still trying to decided whether we should use a TA or just book through Travelocity.

We haven't "officially" reserved a date yet, but I'm a super planner and because my fiance and I are going to be paying for our wedding ourselves we are trying to figure out exactly how much we need to be saving each month. But I have had a few questions and she has responded almost immediately to all three of my e-mails. For me, that is HUGE! We are planning on 4/6/2013 ~ and funny enough that is Jacki's Birthday!!

Thanks again AlisonDawn! So, I finally sent an e-mail to the E-Concierge (Harri Jones) because after almost a week I hadn't heard anything back from the resort. It turns out the wedding coordinators never received my information request! Anyway, I did hear back from one of the WC's, has anybody worked with Jacki Muir? I have been creeping on this forum for a little while, and I haven't seen her name mentioned.

Hello Brides-to-Be! So my fiance and I are trying to decide between Dreams Puerto Aventuras and Dreams Puerto Vallarta. I filled out info request forms for both resorts and have heard back from (and had terrific communication with) Dreams PV, but I hadn't gotten anything from Dreams PA. The wedding coordinator at PV sent me a package of information that is similar to what they have available on their website, but has more info and some pictures of ceremony sites, flowers, etc. I'm assuming (but maybe not) that Dreams PA has a similar packet of info ~ if anybody has an up-to-date packet like this would you mind e-mailing it to me at [email protected] Thanks so much for any info you girls might have!!

I sent in a request for information and was put in touch with Eleane Joya too, I have e-mailed with her twice over the last few days, and so far she has been great. She has responded to both e-mails in less than 24 hours, and we haven't even signed a contract yet! I am praying that the resort has picked up on the negative reviews regarding coordinators and made some changes! That bonfire sounds like so much fun, we are thinking about doing one as an arrival party.

I am so glad to hear that things are going okay with your coordinator ~ but 4 different ones! That's nuts! Thanks so much for the info on the extra guests ~ do you have to pay any additional fees for the additional chairs at the ceremony. I know some place do that, which I think is crazy. And thanks for the tip on getting a contract going!!

We are looking at the Dreams Ultimate Wedding Package, but we will definitely have more than 20 people, so I need to look into what the additional cost/person fee will be. Hello Brides-to-Be! I am new on here, but my fiance and I have decided to go with a destination wedding ~ YAY! We are at the very beginning stages, but we really like the way Dreams Puerto Vallarta looks, and their prices seem very reasonable. However, I have read some horrifying reviews regarding their wedding coordinators, and we definitely won't have the funds to pay an outside wedding planner. I am just wondering what kind of experience some of you have had with their WC's?

Hello Brides-to-Be! (and any Grooms out there) So my fiance and I have decided that we want to go the Destination Wedding route! And we are seriously considering Dreams PV, but I have read so many horrible reviews about disasters with the WC's at the resort that I am a little apprehensive. Is/has anybody out there had a positive experience planning a wedding at this resort? We are paying for the wedding ourselves, so an outside wedding planner is not really an option. Also, we are looking at the Dreams Ultimate Wedding Package, but we will definitely have more than 20 guests ~ has anybody received a price quote on how much each additional guest will cost??
