  1. @Foxxy Why are you attacking my post? I was just telling people what my experience was and giving some advice. Amalia clearly has something to do with service because she is a customer service rep. and some people who ordered from them did get their dress on time. You also made a negative comment under see2bee512's wedding pictures a few pages back which was not nice.
  2. @2012Mrstobe I'm so sorry you had a bad experience, I really hope you get your dress and on time. Me and a few other girls on this board got our dresses from SOP and had really good experiences but I'm pretty sure that all of us worked with Amalia. I think things at SOP have gone down hill a little since Amalia isn't there anymore. Everyone says that their dresses are really well made but that sometimes communication is not so good and that it takes a long time to get the dress in. I ordered my second dress from them before Amalia left and I'm waiting for it to come in. I will let you all know how the second one is when it gets here and if its on time or not. I would say that its definitly worth ordering from them if you have a lot of time before your wedding or if/when Amalia ever comes back she is great to work with.
  3. This is so pretty, very nice choice. Look forward to seeing your dress when your alterations are done!
  4. Did you ever tell them how bad the dress was or ask for a refund or at least a discount on the dress? I wonder how these replica companies respond when someone isn't happy with the dress they got. It seems like from all the people who got bad dresses, that none of them got any of their money back.
  5. I thought duosheng had the dress you wanted? I was very happy with my dress from Shades of Pale but I think that Jasmine's is a little more well known and a little pricier. I think when it comes down to which sellers are better, it just depends mostly upon what you want on you dress. One seller might make lace dresses better and another might be better at folds and another better at pickups and so on. Just my opinion.
  6. @cnd29 I think you should ask them if that close up picture is their own work or not. I don't think that you should use inweddingdress.com google it and check out the reviews I saw a lot of bad reviews about them. I think you should just stick with the ebay seller you are looking at now. You could also talk to Shades of Pale I just reviewed my dress from them but they are a lot more expensive than the seller on ebay but they do make really perfect dresses and they will send you pictures of their work and close ups. You can also see a lot of their work on their facebook page.
  7. I think you should ask them if that close up picture is their own work or not, I think it probably is. I don't think that you should use inweddingdress.com google it and check out the reviews I saw a lot of bad reviews about them. I think you should just stick with the ebay seller you are looking at now. You could also try Shades of Pale I just reviewed them and another girl on here got her dress from them too. They make really good dresses and will send you close up pictures of everything but they are way more expensive than the ebay seller you are looking at now.
  8. YESSS!!!! finally I was able to post my pictures. This is my Shades of Pale dress. I ordered with them based on Lindy S's review. Thanks so much Lindy S!!! Its based on the Vera Wang Diana dress and I absolutely love it. It does need some alterations but I guess that was to be expected and I would have needed them if I had gotten it from a bridal shop too. So here goes what I thought of my experience- customer service- Super I also worked with Amalia who is so sweet and answered all my questions. price- a little higher than the average IMO timing- It did take them a while to finish it, I don't remember exactly how long but I think somewhere around 2 months so longer than most shipping- once it was shipped it got here really fast fabric- very soft and nice and a lot like stuff I saw in bridal shops (just like Lindy S said it would be) Dress overall- Couldn't be better I love it and will post pics once my alterations are finished.
  9. Any info on anyone experience in Bali would be greatly appreciated.
  10. Hi did you have your wedding in Bali or are you still planning how did things go? Right now I am deciding between Bali, Seychelles or Malaysia and would like to know how easy or hard its going to be to plan it from far and what was good what wasn't how is people's English there ect. I have heard that sometimes you can end up with some really inferior food and cake and such. Thanks for any info you can give me.
  11. Why are my posts being eaten it seems like I can't post pictures at all even if its just pictures in a quote! grrrr
  12. @erinmc I think that would be really pretty I have seen something very close to that done by dressilyme if you want to save some money but I'm sure Jasmine's will make a great dress too.
  13. @cnd29 I was just looking at that seller's ebay page and I cam across this which I think is a close up picture of the bead work on one of the dresses made by her but I would have to agree with the person who said that at that price you can't go wrong. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stock-White-Ivory-Beaded-Wedding-Dresses-Bridal-Gowns-Size-SZ-6-8-10-12-14-16-/320846289662?pt=Wedding_Dresses&var=&hash=item76c1a37b59
  14. I was just looking at her ebay page and I came across this which I think is a close up picture of the bead work on one of the dresses she made. You could always just tell her that you don't want any sequins used on the dress or any cheap plastic beads or whatever but I would have to agree with someone else on here who said you can't go wrong for that price.
  15. @ My Hoang I change my mind about what I said about Landy's dress I think duosheng's is better especially the belt. You know you could just tell them to subtract the cost of the belt and then buy one from someone on etsy.
  16. Ok I change my mind about Landy I think this one is better especially the belt. You know I just thought of this you can just order the dress and tell them not to make the belt and then order the belt from someone on Etsy but this duosheng dress's belt doesn't look bad at all IMO.
  17. This is so pretty!!! They did a great job and you look so amazing. What a perfect hour glass figure! And I think your dress looks better than the original too.
  18. I got my dress made by Shades of Pale based on your recommendation and I'm so happy and just wanted to say thanks for the review your dress looks better than the original with the changes you made! Love the multiple removable sash idea too!
  19. @AllieH Be careful about how hard some of the tulle on knockoff veils might be make sure you are getting the good stuff
