I also got the deluxe package from Ocean and I am doing the 4 hours of video which is $2200 total. For my DJ I went with PSAV and I am doing 4 hours and its a total of $1,086 which was almost 500 bucks cheaper than JSAV!

I jsut booked PSAV for my wedding in May and my coordinator said that there will not be a vendor fee for using them =)

Im using Zuniga and I havent found that the prices are TOO bad! Im getting flowers for the bridesmaids and groomsmen, centerpieces, lounge set, strings of paper lanterns for a little under 2000... Seems worth it to me to not have to drag it all down to Mexico with me!!

So i am a little nervous... Ive mostly had my travel agent dealing with Moon Palace for me but I just decided to contact them myself because i have a million questions I would like answered. Well they told me that my wedding planner is Renee Garcia and according to previous posts I have learned that she is not the most reliable person. Can anyone confirm this for me? Or maybe give me some hope that shes not THAT bad?! lol

Im hoping my guests are just waiting for the 3-5 month mark as well!! I figure most will book after xmas but i guess i was just hoping SOMEONE would book sooner! So glad i can vent here because I feel like noone else understands!!!!

Just need a little vent session.... I knew going into a destination wedding that not everyone would be able to come because of money, kids, etc.... totally understandable! But I guess there were some people who i just did NOT expect to back out on our wedding day. Found out this past week that my fiances TWO sisters have decided they will not be coming. (Mind you, I asked both of these girls to be IN the wedding last November!! A year ago!!!) The wedding is not until May so they have had plenty of time to plan and save. Ugh... my fiance is not one to show much emotion but i just KNOW its killing him inside and i feel horrible!!! Let alone.. not one person has booked their trip yet... i know we have a good 7 months to go but as of right now I feel like we are going to have zero guests!! I just needed to vent with some girls who have an insight into what I am going through!!

i would HIGHLY recommend the Alfred Angelo 2219! I fell in love with this dress the second I started looking around online for wedding dresses but unfortunately I could not find it in any stores near me! Here are pictures of it both with the bottom and without! PERFECT for destination!!

I havent heard of that. I booked my wedding (which was also our entire stay) with MP back in February and used my credit card and then I booked my honeymoon with Sun Palace about a month ago and used my credit card for that as well.
