Got secretly married over the weekend!! We are doing a symbolic ceremony at Moon Palace so we picked this past weekend to get married because we had gorgeous weather here in New England! The countdown is ON- 29 days til we leave for Cancun and 32 days til we get married! (again! haha)

Let me just tell you that this is one of my all time favorite dresses!!! Unfortunately a friend of mine wore it to her wedding so I thought it might be weird if I wore it as well! haha But its gorgeous and you look amazing in it!!

Hi Lauren! So a lot of your questions I am not sure about but I can answer some of them!! The 1500 credit is per room. Not every room will get the max amount of 1500 credits, it all depends on how many nights are booked. The onsite photographer- Smile Market (Ocean photo Studio) has been getting great reviews so we ended up going with them! Just a little less of a hassle so that I don't need to worry about day passes and/or booking them a room. We are paying $2200 and that includes photo AND video for 5 hours. Plus a bunch of pictures and photo books AND a cd with all of our photos! Good luck!

Hi Ems! I used Lily at Zuniga as well... you can contact her at [email protected] and she usually responds rather quickly! Our lounge set is for 10 people and it was $155 and we did 4 strings of lantern lights which came out to $400. We also ordered our flowers for bridal party, and centerpieces through Zuniga. My wedding coordinator was able to tack this total on to our final purchase order from Moon Palace so that we only pay one final bill. Hope this helps!!

Hi Kelly! The best thing to do would be to get a travel agent. We luck out because a good family friend of ours is a travel agent so she is doing our wedding btu I have heard that there are some great ones that you can find through this site that specialize in Destination Weddings! My travel agent was able to book my wedding for me and dealt with getting the room block and contract and everything! It has been a stress free ride for me! Also, I have a bunch of documents that I can send you with all types of information including the packages they have and what the complimentary package includes. What is your email address?

Thanks girls! i just wrote to my coordinator and asked about the tres leche! I honestly think we will end up going with the italian buffet because im sure my big italian family will request pasta and tiramisu! YUM! haha Plus I think we are going to try to have our rehersal/welcome dinner at Caporales which is Mexican so we want to switch it up a bit! I would love to know about the tables as well! And how many people do they sit? Now that I have a final number of people I should prob start working on a seating plan!

Thanks MP! That was me asking about the kids! The ones that are paying $56 a night, are those kids in a Family Room? Or are they in a regular Deluxe type room with like 2 other adults?

I just found out that they are running a promotion right now during the summer months (starting June 1st) that kids 12 and under stay free... it just so happens that my wedding is may 31st so we literally JUST miss this promotion!! haha oh well.... just wanted to make sure that i wasnt given wrong information!! My niece can out eat almost anyone in my family so Im sure she will take full advantage of the all inclusive and room service!! hahaha

My ceremony is at 4pm as well! Although I just learned last night that my friend who is doing my hair for the wedding is also going to do all of my bridesmaids hair as well (only 3 of them so it shouldnt be too bad!) but I just wanted an idea of what time we should begin!! Also, did you have any kids at your wedding? For some reason I thought I remember seeing somewhere that there was a special room rate for a kid staying in a hotel but my travel agent said there wasnt so my 12 year old niece is now being charged the same rate as all of us adults. Do you know if that is correct???

Hi Shan! Can you give me like a timeframe of how your wedding day went before your ceremony? For instance, what time did you make the hair appts for? And what time was your ceremony??? I need to book appts at the salon and want to give myself and my girls plenty of time to get ready!

I searched everywhere for an ivory wedge that would fit my tiny size 4 foot and found them on Ebay!! My dress also has an ivory bow on it so they match perfectly!!
