  1. I shipped most thru Fedex..and they made me pay an extra 80 dollars when it got to the resort.. If I had to do it again, I would bring it myself..beacuse customs went thru my package and messed up and opened my first aid kit and mask even though they were all in see thru bags. Ridiculous..i spent a day fixing them. So even of i had problems with customs at the airport, at least i can see what they are doing and explain. and no, i did not have any trouble at the airport with the rest of the wedding stuff.. they see a lot of brides i guess..they know the stuff i had was for a wedding:)
  2. This was at the cocktail hour. We wanted to have the welcome dinner at the buffet, but it was Mexican theme night that night and was great because we had the buffet, and there was a show and there was a 12 man mariachi band.. I liked the orange lounge better because it was just one open space( better for mingling)..and the blue bar is bigger but you'll have your guests all scattered around the bar..
  3. sorry don't really have alot of pics, didnt get the "real" pics back yet.
  4. I brought my own tea lights and holders and I left everything there.. I think alot of brides don't wanna lug all the decor back home after the wedding..you should just ask them about the glass holders so you dont have to bring them and just bring a bag of tea lights.
  5. I haven't gotten my pics back from Delsol yet..should be a couple more weeks before I get it. They should have awesome pics of the fireworks:)
  6. Honestly I felt that the fireworks are much more worth it than the Dj..the Dj really didn't talk or do much..and when he did talk..I really couldn't hear or make out what he was saying..lol..my iPod would have done the same thing he did. the only thing my iphone couldnt do is give out balloons..haha. 7. I selected the package around $750 which I think consists of 5 big ones and 20 small ones. and I added the cold fireworks at ceremony for 35 each..we did 6 of them... They told us they gave us extra big ones that night..which is so nice..but I didn't notice cos I was too busy posing for pictures..LOL. I think they last 20 secs..hahaha..but you don't really notice the duration...its the MOMENT!! contact Maritza, she is really nice and easy to work with..they set off the cold fireworks at 6pm and stayed until 10.30pm to set off the fireworks.. it is really nice.. 8. I didn't put that picture in the first post:P I printed the labels on white sticker paper with my all in one canon printer at home:) slow printer but it does the job. The only things I couldnt print at home was the pearl card stock. I do those at staples. but I couldn't go to the staples near my house because their machines are not calibrated right and the color looks very off..lol..OCD kicking off.. I actually travelled to a further staples:P
  9. I actually brought over empty tequila bottles(so I don't have to deal with the weight and spilling or breakage) and the wedding coordinators got me bottles of tequilas from the resort bar to fill them up. no cost:) very nice of them. Just one thing though, the labels were printed on avery clear label sheets, they looked very nice, but the moment a drop of tequila got on them..the words came right off!!!we had to be so careful when we were filling them up.. hope that helps.
