Yes the free reception is for 2 hours only and than you have to pay the $60 additional each table and you have to pay for the cocktail party. It really comes out to almost the same thing lol. If you get unlimited free events than you only have to pay extra if u do the beach or rooftops and that's just the additional fee for special locations. I am so excited today I got a whole bunch of DIY projects started. All the tags and labels printed at work so I can work on them over the weekend. my bags came and i am not thrilled with them but what can you do. i called the company and they will not take them back because they were personalized. i hate David's bridals they have the worst customer service. But I am not going to let that affect my great mood lol. I am so happy because my biggest pain was the key card holders until the great and wonderful COCO told me to just get the avery badges and that totally saved me. (I LOVE COCO I LOVE COCO lol) see me doing the dance lol. I also got the first pic of my swarovsky ankle bracelets I am getting for my girls and they are so freaking cute and such an amazing price. She even has these gorgeous jewelry boxes and it looks like I spent so much money. They are so high class looking I heart them

I found these really cute frames http://www.pfile.com/product/t-pf5369ax/New-Photo-Folders which fit the instax photos perfectly. i was going to let each guest take a pic for my guestbook and one for themselves. So these little paper frames are perfect but you have to order 4 packages of 25 and I only need one. they only fit the fuji instax wide film so if anyone wants to do this and share the cost please let me know

OMG I had my shower today. Total shock and my daughter planned her first event ever and it was the most amazing party. the gifts I got were ridiculous and I still can't get over everyone's generosity . My daughter made these amazing baskets for each holiday season with all personalized items with my new last name. They are so gorgeous and I have never seen anything like them. I am overwhelmed right now and feel so blessed. I just wanted to share a few pics It was soooo amazing. Getting so excited now but it's coming fast and I need more time lol. this cake was so ridiculously gorgeous all edible and she made centerpieces with fish...big hit lmao

So my colors have been fuschia and light pink and I have tried to throw in other colors over the months but i really wasn't happy with anything so I left it at that and I love it. Now my daughter who is my maid of honor has been having a really hard time finding a dress. She is in her first year of law school and it has been brutal on her not to mention she planned my whole shower (that is coming in 2 weeks shhh lol) so I have been patient. We have gone a few times and everytime she finds a dress she likes and than for some reason the next day or even a week later we have found out for whatever reason it wasn't going to happen. So after waiting for her to get a dress all this time I had to move on and order the other dresses and decor and hope that she would find something pink or fuschia. weel she went tonight and found something she absolutely LOVES but we realized after that it is CORAL (a pinky coral) but coral. I do not know what to do. Can I do coral and fuschia??? or should i make her go back to the drawing board. I am so upset. I want her to be happy and feel beautiful. She is the most wonderful daughter but i am going to choke her. I got the flower girl dresses. I got them with both fuschia and pink sashes and flowers and can use either. it's simple to change the flowers in the netting and he very generously sent me enough for both because i wasn't sure what color pink my daughter was going to get. see below. please help???????

okay so i am starting to feel the pressure of this whole thing and the looming list of DIY projects that I have and it seems like it is never going to get done. but i am going to start today lol. Does anyone know how I can print on both sides of a cardstock paper so that it is exactly aligned. I have a 17,000 printer at work that could do anything if the programmer knew what she was doing. No matter how I play with the margins the 2 sides are slightly off. Is there a magic cure lol

I had the most amazing jewelry experience last night. A family friend has been asking me if I would look at her stuff http://www.collettemarie.com/store.html she has a website but it doesn't begin to show all that she has. She only deals with swarovsky crystal in all sorts of colors and makes everything earrings, bracelets, necklaces and best of all I ordered the most absolutely adorable ankle bracelets for my girls with swarovsky starfish (5 of them ) on each with beads in the middle. will be like this with starfish instead of chili peppers lol my nieces were begging me for these in pink with a starfish and a shorter dangle and i got them with matching necklaces I am too excited she gave me crazy discounts and is easy to negotiate and the stuff was the most gorgeous I have ever seen for the prices. i ordered everyone's jewelyy big big check off my list. If you want custom stuff that is such amazing quality definitely contact her. i am so thrilled. I couldn't sleep. I ordered the flower girl dresses too another big check. About time I am under 2 months lol

I was thinking the exact same thing. My ceremony is at 4pm and the cocktail hour can start at 5 so we can take some group shots of everyone for a half hour and than start the reception at 6 it is all right there anyway and i was thinking it would be great for them to do the photos while we are doing our pictures and they are having the cocktail hour. I wonder if I can enlist my 12 year old niece for this project lol she is the only person who wants to help me lol.

Let me ask you everyone keeps telling me this is not a good idea because who is going to "man" it. I only have about 25 people and 7 of those are kids so they might be right BUT I made my guestbook already and I love it and I ordered boas and masks and sunglasses from oriental trading and had a poster made at vista print. I have not bought the film and camera and I am so on the fence. I LOVE the idea but I am worried about who is going to want to be responsible for this??

If you have 60 nights (which i just made ) you get a free reception instead of the cocktail hour so that was a plus. I am not sure what you mean by an extra $1,600 for an extra 10 people? I have about 30 also and i thought all private function do not have a limit as long as you pay per person. Only the restaurants have a limit of 35 to put together.
