I totally understand I had 30 with 7 being kids and I had the same concern. I am sending you the bill with what we got. The scenery really is picturesque and if you are bringing sashes and some colorful stuff you really don't need much. It is definitely bright enough that I didn't need the lanterns. But while I was there I saw a memo to my WC that said that Colin guy was coming up with a cheap reception package. You should inquire about that.

They are great and you can change everything when you get there if you want except things that are hard for them to get like the candy table but they are very flexible. They do not bill you it just gets added to your room bill and you go over it all with your WC at your meeting and can change whatever you want. i picked all of my decor with katie but my flowers and stuff I did with my WC when I got there. Our ceremony was at 4:00 PM and in the Tucan Gazebo so there was no sun in your eyes in the Gazebo. I did a private reception in the Tucan Terrace. The dinner was free because I made 60 nights but I would have done it anyway. I LOVED the terrace the gorgeous beach right behind you. It was so breathtaking and the sound system is all you need. The guy played my playlist that I spent months creating which everyone danced to for hours. We had the ceremony at 4:00 and the cocktail at 5:00 so I brought everyone over to do pics until the cocktail and than we took our pics and got to the cocktail hour about 20 minutes before the reception which was all right there and perfectly set up. We did a first dance as the sun was setting at 6:00 PM and than we ate for about 35 minutes than we did the cutting the cake and I set off the dance music lol. After that we just danced and it flew by. I wanted to extend another hour but hubby was tired. One thing...do the horse and carriage. it made my husband cry and my guests were completely blown away. It is amazing.

I can't say enough great things about him. He is as good as everyone says. Book him early. Sofia did my daughter and she sucked. I was very disappointed. It is very windy but the saide thing seems to hold up pretty well. I was deflated by the end of the night but it was still cute but it lasted throughout the ceremony. I have a live feed of the ceremony so I can send you the link. You see my hair blowing a little but it looks cute not stupid lol. no mosquitos at Tucan but I did get eaten up at Traitorria the night before at the Golf course although the food was great. I was not hot at all- the breeze was great for that. Although I couldn't sit too much lol. I loved my dress and wore it all night to the swing bar and everything. I would have slept in it if my husband would have let me lmao. I don't know about the welcome dinner.. I did it at Arrecifies and while I wasn't crazy about the dinner there the ambience is great and it is really nice place. La Traitorria was good food but the bugs were tough to take. I love the Mohanana )whatever) chinese food in sunrise but it might not be fancy enough. sorry I am not good with that lol. Thanks girls. it was a dream come true!

The photographer was Israel and the videographer was cesar. I gave him a tip when my WC told me they were wrapping up and than he stayed. I don't know if it was the tip or not but he was sooo nice and interacted with my whole party. The kids loved him lol. I really don't know how I am going to wait until March 21st for these pics and video.

Hi girls I am back. And what everyone says is sooo true. It is crazy aggravation in planning and I have to say the communication continues to suck while you are there but the wedding is out of this world. If you can just relax and be laid back (which I can’t) I think it could be great lol. I worried about everyone and everything and every miscommunication was a mountain to me and I wish I would have relaxed or made my wedding right away so that I could have enjoyed myself because I had the greatest 2 days Friday (my wedding) and Saturday when everything was over but I stressed the whole week before. A few tips.. The WC is your greatest ally. I had Cristina V who was off the hook and did the most amazing job ever. Zuniga decorated everything so beautifully and the day was the perfect. The Tucan terrace was beyond gorgeous and an awesome place to have my reception and because I did the Tucan garden for the cocktail hour PSAV only charged me $385 to do the cocktail hour and reception because they were so close instead of charging for 2 separate hook ups. I used Smile market and my photographer and videographer were so accommodating and great to work with. I can’t wait to see my pics but I loved working with them and the videographer stayed much longer than he was supposed to and we had so much fun with them. I can’t say enough great things about working with them. I got this package and it had everytbing. They came early to both of our rooms to take getting ready pics and they did the whole ceremony, cocktail and reception. And I got live streaming. Oh boy 2 days and i am a complete wreck....literally lol . im not going to bore u with all my ailments but need help with the important stuff. i need to burn the cd for my ceremony cd and my husband just informed me that you can't burn itunes songs onto a disk????? is this true. anyone know what i can do? thanks guys

I am seriously wondering how brides get their stuff to Mexico without having a nervous breakdown - I have 2 suitcases so far and it does not include 1 OOT bag which looks like it will take 2 or 3 suitcases.I have the bags filled I should definitely empty them and assemble when I get there right??? I still haven't packed 1 starfish of which I have so many that it is scary. I have 25 - 8"-10", 20+ 6" , 20+ 4", and 25 of small ones and another 25 of even smaller ones. I have just been buying them with no thought to what I was doing uggh. I am going to have to leave more than half home along with tons of shells and lion paws. One week until I leave and I finally started worrying about my suitcase and my clothes lol. At least I started that today. Tomorrow is my hair trial so I am excited about that Any thoughts (Coco lol) on what menu. I had originally picked italian because all the reviews say it is the best but I am not crazy about it.. I think I like international and add the beef medallions. Any thoughts??? I am a nervous wreck lol just wanted to share with the only people who could possible understand xoxo

Yes the stamps were actually in the dollar bin and that is why I picked them up and than didn't know what to stamp lol. But they also have them in the aisle with all the stamps and ink pads. I wish I had other things to stamp because it looks so cute. I used different shaped tags for different things. i did the bubbles with them and the pashmina tags also. The tags are awesome for almost anything you want to do but sometimes the perforation is a little hard to tear perfectly but it beats spending tons of money on tags that people are not even going to care about lol.

According to an old Aggie legend, if two lovers pass beneath the tree's large, vine-like branches, they are destined to be wed. Similarly, if a couple becomes engaged under the Century's picturesque leaves, the marriage will last forever. My FI is an Aggie so when I proposed this option versus a church he was stoked! I didn't want a huge wedding with a ton of people hence the reason we are planning Mexico, I would have been happy going to the JP but he's somewhat of a romantic and wanted some kind of a ceremony to appease his parents. So the intimate ceremony here is for me and the Mexico wedding is for him. Here's a picture of the tree itself. I think it will be perfect for when we say "I do".

yes in the wedding aisle at Michaels there are all different types of tags and labels. They all have the website on the back of the package and u put in the UPC code and get free templates . make sure you get tags and not labels. i did that the first time and they were stickers lmao duhhh. really easy. if u need anything else just email me [email protected] I probably have the template if you get the same tags. Do a few practice runs on plain paper and measure it up to the tags before u waste any because it took me a few tries to line it up just right.

The raffia was fine but i put a small glue dot on each one to make sure it stays in place. I got the glue dots from michaels they have all different sizes so the small ones and it comes in a dispenser so it is quick and easy and it makes sure the raffia doesn't fall off. I used the second one and I got printable favor tags from Michaels (Gartner studios) and you can get any shape that has perforated edges. You go on a website that gives you either a blank template or all different templates with flowers or designs and you write in the poem and print them up- this tag even has a little hole so it was easy to tie it. I stamped mine with stamps and pink ink that I had anyway because I couldn't get a picture on them with the way the template is but I am not very good like that so you probably could and than I put our sticker on the back. They are so cute. one of my favorite things. I saw really nice hang tags that people had made up on etsy and i was thinking of doing it but I am running out of money lol.

I got the pink ones from luna bazaar and i love them - the mr & mrs I got from etsy and I am a little upset because the seams all have glue showing through and it kind of looks dirty. she offered to take them back but i waited so long i wouldn't have been able to get new ones without paying rush charges. i wish I would have done a color because i think it's the white because she said she got them from luna bazaar also and my pink ones don't have that. They are so cute though and the pink ones were like 7 or 8 dollars each and the mr & mrs was 35 with shipping so really not bad considering that i can use them for ceremony decor, pictures and than reception decor as well !! The pashminas are really pretty good quality and only 4 bucks. but the shipping was a little steep but my husband said he would rather pay shipping than drive into the city so that works for me lol. They say pashmina on them and they are really a nice size. I wanted to do pink ones and put them out at my reception but it is at the end of the week and i thought they could really use them all week and who wants pink pashminas so i got cream and black and I will put them in there bags. Okay to clarify the shirt situation lmao he does not want to tuck this pink shirt in- he bought this pink shirt so he wouldn't have to wear the linen one i wanted him to wear UNTUCKED with his suit jacket over it. He has this thing about wearing a jacket without tucking in his shirt so this pink one he wants to wear without the jacket and untucked which i guess is the better option. apparently i can't get my way all the time and it is either a suit jacket with a tucked in shirt or the pink one untucked . why does he make me want to kill him right before my big day lol.
