It is the person that was taking care of me so I considered them the "maitre D" but i don't think it would matter if you gave them the same $20 - u never see them again lol. The WC I gave her the tip the next day when u go to their office to get your certificate and stuff so u don't need to have that with u. The hairstylist u give the tip when u are there so all u need with you is for the : waiters, photogrpaher/videographer, music guy (ipod or DJ) and if u are going to tip the officiant. I probably should have but what can u do -never see them again either lol. Be good to the picture people !!!

This is very true and your FI is right. i tipped well and was very vocal about being excited and letting them know how happy I was so far and they worked so hard and my shots were touched up and gorgeous and my video was ridiculously awesome and much longer than they had said. It pays to be generous to the people that hold the most important thing about ur wedding lol. Most people tip the photographer that day and if you don't he might think you are not going to and not care about ur pics unless u tell him you are going to I am not sure seems risky lol

Hi I am going to tell you what I did and I asked my WC every step of the way and she pretty much said i was being generous and at times told me to give less than i was planning to. The only one I couldn't get her opinion on was hers lol. I did tip the service staff at the end of the wedding when they began cleaning up. My husband had the cash in his wallet and I had some in my wedding bag. The photographer and videographer I tipped in the middle and they stayed a little longer I gave my WC- $250.00 (I think I should have given more she did so much but I ran out of cash) I gave the photographer $100.00 he was with me for 5 hours I gave the videographer $75.00 for 4 hours I gave the head maitre D $35 (I thought more but the WC said that was enough) The other 2 waiters $20 each I gave the ipod technician $50.00 The stylist who did my hair and makeup I gave $50 I never gave the officiant anything i forgot all about it and no one reminded me ;(.

Okay might not be worth the trouble. Otherwise use those Michael's coupons girl. Hi there. I think that is a Palace resort and their in house photographer is Smile Market. I was very hesitant to go with them at first because of old posts that I read on here but i gave it a shot and I can't tell you how happy and grateful I am that I did. They charged me $2000 for so much and you don't have to pay ANY outside vendor fees and the pictures are so gorgeous. It comes in this gorgeous package with amazing albums all hard pages with stunning pictures and extra 100 pictures printed and 25 Black and whites and a bunch of 8X10's not to mention the CD comes in a gorgeous canvas picture case. For that price I also got the 4 hour DVD with a videographer all day and a 50 minute webcast so my family at home could watch. This is the most unbelievable value and you can tell them anything you want them to do. Bring pics or send them the types of pics you want and they will do the exact same thing. You will be very happy if this is a choice for you. my photographer was Israel and he was absolutely amazing and I couldn't be happier!

In my experience I contacted katie [email protected] and she answers right away. You tell her where your wedding will be and what you are looking for and she is very helpful with ideas and suggestions. Once it is all settled on what you want than she sends a quote that you have to sign. In my case they did not ask for a deposit just added it to my bill with Moon Palace when i checked out and subtracted my comped room nights from that bill as well. No waiting for the comped nights. Here is the price list I received from katie and what I got is gone over in the thread except someone pointed out I forgot to add the centerpieces were also from Zuniga.
