Hi ladies!! Sorry I have been MIA since the wedding I have just been crazy at work and settling in. I have received my highlight video and I thought maybe it would help get a few of the girls familiar with Barcelo. I know how stressful it can be planning a wedding in a different country and have no idea what some of the areas look like. I was not lucky enough to have done a site visit prior to the wedding so I was a bit nervous. I will let you know now as hard as it seems at times to relax and not stress! They did an outstanding job from the minute we checked in!!! Everyone who came was extremely satisfied with the resort, the food, the activities and of course the wedding! There is something for everyone at this resort! No one wanted to leave!! lol I will definitely do an extended review I am just waiting for my pictures to complete. One suggestion I do have is to make sure you budget a videographer!!! I cant say how much this video meant to us. We waited two months and just the minute we received we BOTH have watched it over and over again. It was so nice to be able to relive the moment again!!! We used Mike Cantarell from Cancun Wedding Video. He was great!!! I will also do a review when I have a chance hopefully this week! We were married at the gazebo and my reception was at Coco Beach. yes photographer must have a 2 nights . & also if you have videographer they also need to have a room booked or you will be charged

I would def go with the violin, I had the violin and it sounded amazing! I heard the sax during another wedding didnt compare!

I HIGHLY recommend the surf & turf, the steak was AMAZING!! They will not be disappointed! Best part people were ordering seconds with no extra charge!

Anyone have recommendations on which building I should request to stay in? Preferred smoking section, my fiance and a lot of the people staying with us are smokers. Also do the junior suites come with a balcony?

Ladies, is it safe to order flowers from the resort? I'm confused I see a lot of girls ordering else where? Please let me know why.

Hey I'm getting married the day before you! I've been in contact with my coordinator and have chosen my ceremony and reception locations. I have completed some of the excel sheet but I won't be able to finalize until I know exactly how many people are coming. You shouldnt worry I have heard from past brides that everything is completed the day before the wedding. If you have a travel agent I suggest maybe asking her to contact the wc. Once they have your travel confirmed that may help get the ball rolling for you.

does anyone know what location the reception was at?

I also am looking for some input ladies.. please can anyone tell me what the difference or the preferred spot is between coco beach and coco pool? I have 38 booked, but still waiting for more responses. I am having a dj with a light up dance floor and projection screen. can anyone let me know which location would be better? or can you suggest a bigger location. I have Playa Azul booked as of right now, but without the palapa I am having second thoughts. My WC has sent me some pictures and I am not happy with the way the set up looks. Thanks!!
