    I'm bringing my own photographer as well!! Mostly because he's super talented and I'll end up getting more pics from my big day! My photographer has done many destination weddings, and said that if we book his accommodation via our travel agent then we shouldn't have any problems. Probably because it will just look like he's part of the wedding group. Yay!! Can't wait to see pics from your wedding!

    Were arriving 4 days before the wedding, so I think I'll make a trip into town to snatch some Maracas!! Will definitely make the tags a head of time to personalize it

    Sorry for all the post ... just wanted to comment on another thing. I was in Cancun late april to may last year and it was hot!! I think we only had 1 cloudy afternoon for a couple hours, then it was back to hot and humid again. Hope that helps!

    My florist told me that too that the hydrangeas are not good in the heat! Have you thought about bringing down silk hydrangeas... they look like the real thing! Might have to assemble them once your there but definitely do able if this is what you want!! I think we might go this route... just not sure if our resort will have a vase that tall . Does yours??

    This is ABSOLUTELY Gorgeous!! Yes, you should definitely do the tall vases. If you decide to do runners, you should create your own with both of your initials then add rose pedals to it. I've seen some really nice DIY runners. I'll post it when I find the website if your interested!!

    Hey Ladies!! Need a little help . I would loooove to try something like this for the Akumal Hammock location. Anybody know what measurements I need for the fabric (also what fabric would you use?). I know TIseege did a gorgeous layout for her ceremony and used 16 yards of fabric, but how about the width? Thanks in advance !!

    That's crazy that our wedding is on the same day and we live only 3 hours away from each other lol. Were arriving May 18th, how about you?! It will definitely be nice to know another bride there, so we should for sure stay in touch. I will send you an email soon... would love to see how your planning is going

    Janet you are one talented woman!! I love the message written to your guests and bridal party! For your cocktail party after the reception are you guys just heading to one of the bars at the resort? Or did you have to reserve the an area for cocktail party?
