I am having the same issues. I am starting to wonder am I being unrealistic about my thousand dollar budget for a photographer??

Hey...I having a beach ceremony at 1:00pm. I hope to take pics while my guests break and rest up for dinner which will be at one of the all-inclusive restaurants (semi-private). I am having a reception (small w/about 30 ppl) no need for a DJ, MC, etc but I will definitely rent a small space for this (cake cutting, first dance, etc). Then to the resort's nightclub we go!!! I am learning you can def make things as extravagant as you want them. Happy planning!

How much did you budge on your budget? My budget is $1,000 as yours was in the beginning. Am I being unrealistic???

I would not go to a resort that did not allow me to use my own vendors. I am getting re-married at the Majestic Colonial and although they have fees for outside vendors, you still have the option to use someone else.

Hey how is your planning coming along? Did you decide where you will have the reception? I am leaning toward the Parrot Bar because it is the smaller of the two and I expect less than 40 ppl.

Hey I too am considering the Presidential Suite because I am not sure of the order of events with all the moving from place to place. If I did the steakhouse/parrot bar, I would be eating then moving to wet bar for first dance, cake cutting etc. I am liking the idea that everything can take place at the Presidential Suite.

No veil for me. When I think of a beach wedding, I think of a lot of wind and don't want any distractions, not to mention we r renewing our vows.
