Ok, thanks ladies for all the feedback. I will try Marvin again! But I tried the all caps things already and it didn't work, I even put - READY TO ORDER in the headline. Hopefully it will get back. And yes, Cherry blossom did say they deliver in a gift box if I just get bridal flowers. That might work, but I know Marvin knows the tricks, so just feel safer with him. But a $500 fee is completely outrageous. I am definitely not paying that! -

HI Ladies- So, I have tried and tried and tried to contact Marvin for the flowers (even Chanel tried for me - thanks Chanel), but I am not getting a response. So, I have looked into a couple of other vendors that have been mentioned on this forum. Cherry blossom is the most responsive and they have very reasonable prices. I did ask if they have ever delivered to Moon Palace before and they said yes, but its easiest for them if I paid the outside vendor fee to that don't have issues. So, has anyone used someone else besides the resort or Marvin for flowers, and does anyone know what the outside vendor fee is? Thanks! -

I don't have publishers, so it would not allow me to open. Do you happen to have a pdf or word file for it? Travel Brochure.pub -

Ok, thanks so much for the info. I was rushing to get something done this week too, but maybe I don't need to do as much as I thought. I think I'll just do a pre-travel email with some of the information, then perhaps a small welcome brochure (already did and printed the letter) that has restaurant recommendations, must see-do type things, and itinerary and guest list. So, speaking of must-do....besides the Michael Jackson show and the fire dancing show, if there anything on the property that is a must do? A far as restaurants, I have heard everyone rave about the following (sure I am spelling them all wrong - lol): Los Tacos, Arrifices, Los Caporales, and Mo-Mo-Na-Ha (or something like that - lol). We already have something scheduled for El Caribeno. Am I missing anything else? -

Had my Mexican Fiesta bridal shower this weekend. It was sooo awesome because it was on Cinco de Mayo and we did it at Cantino Loredo which is a gourmet Mexican restaurant. It was packed and just a ton of fun. The bridesmaids got a photographer, so I will definitely post pics when I get them. It was awesome! Only 38 days until the big day and I still have a ton of stuff on my to-do list! About to order my veil and my sand ceremony items from etsy. Does anyone have a welcome brochure template they can share. I know there are some of tons of templates, but mostly pdf, so I was curious what information you all included in the actual welcome packet. Thanks! -

Thanks FutureRN2011, I am so glad to hear that the restaurant is good. Whew!! Now, if I could just get a confirmation from your pal Kalena :-) And I am glad to hear that you had a great experience with her. And everyone has come back and said that same thing. So, even though I am 41 days out with unconfirmed locations for my welcome reception, reception, and rehearsal dinner - I am trying not to worry - LOL! -
Hi Ladies- I am getting married in mid-June at the Moon Palace. I was originally thinking I should do an indoor reception because I was scared of heat, bugs, and wind. Has anyone here had a June wedding or have heard how the evening temps are around that time? I know outdoors would be nice from an atmosphere perspective, but I'm hoping its not humid and uncomfortable for the guests. Thanks! Nicole

I picked El Caribeno for my rehearsal dinner. Did she send you a copy of the menu for there? I have to pick a set menu, but I have not gotten the menu so I can make the selections. Would you be able to share? Thanks! -

Great job on the bags! I am sure they will be a big hit. I'm working on my items now and have a lot of the same items. I just got to find either bug repellant or those wipes. -

HI Speckles121, yes, that is the one that I have. I was just curious of there were other things included that were not on that list. I heard zip lining and some other things are included, but they don't show those in that document. So, I was just curious. -

Hi Ladies- I was wondering if anyone knows the list of activities you can do with your resort credits? Now, I have this document that includes the tours and some services, but I have heard there are other things you can do with your resort credits like zipling, etc. So, I was wondering if anyone knew of anything besides the ones in this document. 1,500 Resort Credit Flyer 29JUNE11.pdf -

The Sunrise side is the party side. Its got the big pools and big lobby. Lots of fun an excitement (including kids) on this side and the rooms include hammocks. The Nizuc side is the middle and where most of the wedding festivities take place. Its central and a little more quiet than the Sunrise side, but for weddings, its easy for guests to get to. The rooms do not have hammocks though, but if you want concierge, then you can select Nizuc, but Sunrise does not have concierge. And I believe its the oldest side of the resort. The Grande side is the newest side. It is usually a lot less occupied, but the rooms are much larger than the other sides. Its by the golf course, so there are no Ocean views. So, just depends on what kind of experience you are looking for - party/excitement, calm/convenient, or quiet/peaceful. Hope that helped. -

HI there, can you let me know the other two florist you have been emailing. I've tried with Marvin, but I can't seem to really get a hold of him. So, I just want to have a back up plan or another option for flowers! Thanks! -

I was wondering for any recent brides what type of room you reserved. I originally reserved the concierge level, but now am wondering if I should do the ocean front level then use my resort dollars to upgrade. Since there are restrictions on what you can use the dollars for, I would rather use them on something like a room upgrade. My only thing is I'm wondering about the availability because we are taking a chance on not getting a concierge room. Has anyone had any issue with not being able to upgrade due to availability. And being there...is the concierge worth it?
