    I did a lot of online dating so I'm very surprised I didn't meet my fiance online. Even though I sorta did. I meet him through a volleyball meetup group. Met on the sand, getting married on the sand!

    I've finally settled on the Riviera Maya/Cancun area for our wedding. Now I'm just trying to settle on a resort. We're on a tight budget so I'm looking for someplace with good group benefits or someplace that offers a good complimentary/decently priced wedding package. Any suggestions? How did everyone else pick there resort? You guys are the best! Thanks in advance!

    I'm not technically a Jersey bride but I grew up there and all my family still lives there. So I just wanted to pop in and say hi and congratulations!

    We're 15 years apart! He's 38 and I'm 23. I'm closer in age to his 13 year old son but it works for us. It took some convincing of our families but they're on board now. He is the biggest kid I know.

    I'm Scottish and my FI likes to call himself a European mutt. But he was born in Mexico so we are getting married in Mexico.

    Most common is blue topaz but it changes on who you ask but I've always seen it as a blue stone of one kind or another.

    I do the same thing! I'm at a computer all day too so between staring at my ring and BDW I'm not getting anything done at work!

    I agree that you don't have to ask anyone. It's your wedding and you can do it however you want. My sister is due the same time I wanted to have my wedding but she found out a few weeks before I got engaged. So I'm pushing the wedding out a year so that she can make it.

    You can always to a play on a french manicure and do a hot pink (or whatever color) tip instead of white. This way you still get a pop of color without going overboard.

    My FI convinced me not to start my diet till after our cruise at the end of october. I have 1 month to eat whatever I want lol! Then it's time to do it right and have plenty of time before my May 2013 wedding.

    This will be my first marriage but my FI's second. He has a 14 year old son and I'm thinking we'll incorporate him into our sand ceremony. We are planning a very small beach wedding so only close family will be there. We're inviting his ex-wife and new husband...should be interesting if they come! But we all get along well so hopefully no drama.
