We went and stayed at the suites for a week in May, we liked the idea of the 3 resorts, if we are able to get around the 60% we are going to block off rooms at the suites and grand, I think most of our guests will be staying at the Grand however those with children will have to stay at the suites. We don't going to the suites to hang out with our guests every now and then... I don't think its going to be a problem at all

I can't wait to read your review and see pictures! Right now we are working with the resort on this issue- I do not want to make my guests stay at the Grand. The reason we choose Iberostar is so that our guests can pick and choose where they want to stay based on money.... Congrats on your wedding so excited to hear all about it!

Hey! I got back from IRHS in May! I loved it! The Japanese restaurant is at the beach resort so i don't know if you will be able to have your reception there. We saw a beautiful fun wedding at the gourmet restaurant and it looked great with the lanterns and flowers. We also really liked the food there as well!

yeah I know i am so upset and now looking into new resorts- it just sucks because we spent all that time and money at Iberostar and now I feel like it was for nothing. My biggest thing is that it is the EXACT same contract that Leah22 sent me (same revision date and all) except there is a little sentence squeezed in there. So basically they just added it in. I hope no one else is having this problem. Def check with the suites contract because they are being really sneaky and I don't want anyone else to have issues...

All three resorts allow sky lanterns and they looked amazing so pretty over the ocean! I know they do not allow fireworks but what about sparklers?!

Hi Dani When we went on our site visit nothing was mentioned and we never got the contract. HOWEVER she sent the contract to our travel agent and the 60% was in there and we were PISSED so we are in the process of negotiations or finding another venue. Kristi

you can not request reservations for the beach/suites before ur trip you have to make them there. We liked the gourmet and mexican! Have so much fun!

Apparently they have added into their contract (out of the blue) that you must have 60% of your guest stay at the Grand in order to have a wedding there. WIth this being said we may not be able to do our wedding here now because I do not think 60% of my guests will be staying there. Please let me know if any of you are having this issue! Thanks

This is KILLING me! I STILL can't pick! i really like coral but I personally don't want the boys to wear any pinkish color, and i like turquoise, I was considering doing a combo of them but I want to see an inspiration board for it... has anyone done these colors and if so do you have pictures?!
