  1. Past/Future Brides: I have heard that the resort "nickel and dimes" you as far as the whole wedding goes. I was wondering if it was worth it to get the "Free" wedding package. Or if I was better off paying for the 3,000 package!! HELP! thanks!!!

  3. when is the correct timing to send out invites? I am 8 months out, I have 50 people booked but I don't know the protocol for sending out invites...It seems stupid to waste money on them when i KNOW who is coming already. BUT i want people who aren't coming to feel included in a way.

  5. I actually did try wedding paper divas. BUT I found that you could only personalize them to a point. I found this website http://www.mygatsby.com/ and they let you go further with the personalization. I may order from them!
  6. I am having such a hard time with my invites. I was OBSESSED with my save the dates. BUT i do not want to spend a fortune on my invites ( i feel like people like the STDS more than the invites and keep them longer! I really like pocketfold but I do not want to spend an arm and a leg on them!!!

I do not want to discourage any brides who are using the hotel's photographer HOWEVER when we went to the resort ( stayed at suites) for our site visit we used to resort photographer for our engagement shoot. Unfortunately the pictures were not good, the photographer did not use our suggestions AND the lighting was horrible and pictures came out fuzzy. I just wanted to share my experiance I would not want future brides to have bad wedding pictures... That was just my opinion!

  16. Hi Ladies, I read on a previous thread (Iberostar Grand Rose Hall Brides 2012) that the Grand is limiting photographers to a certain few. Is this true?! I booked Misha Earle and now I'm scared!!! HELP!

  19. We visited Iberostar in May (2012) and stayed at the suites (to save some money) we toured the Grand and met with the WC there. We went in to rooms, saw possible menus and all of that fun stuff... we stayed at the suites for a week and had a blast... Our June 2013 wedding can not come soon enough!!! feel free to ask any questions... are you planning a prewedding visit?!
