Hello fellow brides, Just wanted to make you aware of an issue I am having with a vendor that was referred to me through word of mouth on this site. I used Robert Dunkley and DVS video for my wedding in June. He was a pleasure to work with before and during the wedding, However I have not heard from him since my wedding day, and he is not answering any of my calls or emails. I have also been hearing that he is doing the same to other brides as well. I am pretty sure that he took my money and ran. I have even gone as far as contacting him under a fake email claiming to be a bride trying to book his services, he got back to me right away and was trying to have me book him. Once I confronted him and told him who I was he dropped all communication again. I am heartbroken over this issue because not only did I lose a big chunk of money but I also lost alot of memories that he captured,. I wanted to warn you all so you do not have to go through the same thing I am dealing with. Good Luck! Kristi

Hi Ladies! I just returned and I wanted to warn future brides--- Please DO NOT trust DigiPix (resort photographer) with photographing your special day. We hired Misha Earle and she was fab! But the resort photographer did take pictures, when we went to view them they were TERRIBLE! we didnt even get the 12 that were included because they were THAT bad. Please please invest in an outside photographer so you have pretty pictures of your special day!

Just got back yesterday night from 10 amazing days at the Grand for my wedding. DJ was fantastic!!!! I told him what I did not want and what I did want. I put the first dance, father daughter and mother son on a CD. We also had an IPod as a back up just in case but we only used it for 1 song (blurred lines by robin thicke) So jealous! I want to go back!!!

is anyone packing tupperware bins for your OOT supplies? I have 60 ppl coming and SO many OOT supplies. I have not a single clue how I am going to pack all this crap!

my fiance and I had the exact same problem. We ended up finally agreeing on a great song. "This will be our year" by the Foo Fighters. Its cute and it describes our relationship. It has to be the Foo Fighter version (its a cover of the Zombies song and that version is too fast)

Thanks for all the info, I did scan the documents and according to the WC the documents are approved (i am of course going to bring the originals with us so we do not run into any trouble) My newest question for past brides is regarding the huppa decoration. I heard the spa was really good- esp if you have pictures, they take a little longer than normal but they apparently match photos exactly! However, as far as makeup goes, I heard that they use really poor quality makeup so it is recommended that you bring down your own products to have them apply (i am planning on doing this)

I think that i am officially DONE ordering stuff for my OOT bags!! woohooo! I now have to put things together and figure out how I am packing things. I am having issues finding the "perfect" turquoise for my chair sashes- but I want to get them out of the way ASAP and honestly who notices if the chair sashes are slightly off color to your BM dresses (prob only an OCD bride like me!) My biggest issue is I was working with an ETSY seller for real touch flowers in the beginning of March and she has totally gone MIA so I do not know what to do! I have my first dress fitting on May 1-- SO excited! all I really need now are little odds and ends.. I feel like the to do list is NEVER ENDING!

really?! they told me that under no circumstances could another flower vendor enter the Grand that they work exclusively with Tia Flora. I did not even think about getting quotes from floral fantasies because I thought it was pointless.. hmmm maybe I should tho.

Suits: We ordered a custom suit for my fiance on Island Importers and got his brother and our fathers matching pants and shirts. His brother will be wearing a matching tie to my sister and our fathers ties will match our mother’s dresses. I have not gotten the suites in the mail yet (should be shipping this week) but when I get them I will let you know how they look! (fingers crossed!) I have a lot of confidence in them because I did the measurements for Jack's custom suit and submitted them, within 1 hour of placing the order I received a call from the company asking me to remeasure because to him it sounded wrong. He talked me through the remeasure and it turns out I was totally off and that the new measurements sounded MUCH better!-- Jack will def be wearing a tie- and I am still on the fence about everyone else. Photography: We are going to use Misha Earle as our photographer. Her work is AMAZING! And she is great to communicate with- we want to be able to have quality pictures to show our friends and family who are unable to attend! Invitations: Again by AprilTwentyFive on ETSY! LOVE LOVE LOVE. They are so amazing to work with! HIGHLY recommend! The pictures do not do them justice because they have an amazing finish to them where some areas are glossy and pop off the page! Again- I totally stole the wording from other BDW brides, I wish I would have remembered who so I could give them the proper credit! That is all I have for now! I am currently working on pre travel brochures and luggage tags and I have ordered a bunch of OOT bag supplies! I will post as soon as I have more!
