Page 5 (back) We are really excited about the wedding and are looking forward to celebrating with you. The best advice we can give is 'don't stress' We certainly don't plan to. We want each and every guest to relax and enjoy this amazing resort in whichever way you prefer. We wouldn't dream of putting everyone on a schedule on their holiday, but we will provide you with a list of optional events on arrival. You are welcome, but not obligated, to join us for everything we have planned. For more detailed information about the resort visit www.palladiumaddict.net We included our phone numbers and email addresses on the brochure as well, and the guests really liked them. I got most of my ideas and wording from BDW so thank you to all those who shared. Hope this is some help to you Casey

For the OOT bags magnets... Welcome postcards... For sharing our photos, we have cut little slits in the long rack card and slotted in the little black business card... I got these 'Do not disturb' before we had a colour scheme so have ordered another set (the yellow ones) to match, we have just punched large holes in the top to fit the door... Ordered 2 different banners because they were free and we hadn't chosen a colour scheme yet... For our at home reception A hard backed display board for our menu options... Postcards for the bathroom baskets... A poster which I am going to put in a gorgeous frame and display... I think that's about it! Everything was from Vistaprint and most all was free, I only had to pay postage which was £5-£10 a go.

Hi Carlota, I am loving vistaprint as well, so far I have made quite a few things ... I will try and post some photos in a minute. For the Avon, I have not used it in Mexico but have used in other places and always found it to be very good. My mum and dad used it in Mexico before I'm sure though. It's worth bringing a few bottles I would say. I usually go for the standard bottle (soft and fresh - it's a white and green bottle) I think the soft and sensual is much the same though. It was a while ago I had a look into the Jungle formula stuff but I can't remember if either one was more recommended. I guess I'd go for the maximum one, it must be stronger I would imagine?

Hi Carlota, sorry to hear you're not feeling well - hope you are better soon! I have been looking at insect repellent as well because I got lots of bites last time we were in Mexico. we bought the wristbands but they definitely DID NOT work. I think they only repel one kind of insect t and in Mexico there are so many! We have used Avon's Dry Oil Body Spray on other holidays and it has always been excellent. It is not advertised as an insect repellent but it is really really good! In the UK it is very well known for this. I have done some research online as well and lots of people recommend a product called Jungle Formula. I haven't used it and don't even know if we can buy it in the UK but am going to look into it some more. I love all the things for your OOT bags as well, especially the lolly pops! I think I'll have a look for those as well. I'm also going to include a few first aid items in my OOT bags like paracetamols, tums etc as we often need these while away. Love the deck of cards idea as well, I'm going to copy you on that as well xx

Hey all, I have just spent ages catching up on all the posts! I love my wee fix of DW! Karenk – glad to hear the DJ app worked well, I’m planning on using it too but haven’t actually got round to downloading it yet. Must do that tonight! Thanks also for the info about the wine – we shall just need to stick to tequila J Thanks also for mentioning you forgot about a dinner playlist – I would totally have overlooked that part of the night! Mikeycelle –wow wow wow! You looked absolutely beautiful and a huge congratulations! Thanks for your amazing review, it’s the perk of my day to read about the GP, especially when it was so wonderful for you. It’s great to hear Vanessa and the team were so accommodating for you and that all your guests had a great time. We will definitely take note of the Adult Pool and Sunset Disco for our evenings! Your story about your dress made me laugh, I’m glad it all worked out in the end and is certainly a story to tell the kids when they come along! We are also having cocktail hour at Las Rocas, although we’re having it after our meal so we can have dancing etc then, and hopefully it will be a little cooler as well. Your first dance sounds so dreamy with the cold fireworks and sparklers, definitely a memory to cherish. We had decided not to go for the mariachi band but looking at your photos, I think we’ll need to reconsider! Thanks for the advice about having everything ready for each vendor in a named envelope – the will help for sure on the day. I totally teared up reading your words of advice, it was lovely and great advice. I am so looking forward to our wedding now! Carlota – I am a fellow Pintrest addict – my wedding board just gets bigger and bigger by the day! Your choice of flowers are also beautiful and it’s great to hear you found a vendor with prices you liked! Bre and Casey – I think with the package changes our options are slightly different so not sure if I can offer any advice on the timeline side of things. I think very similar to Carlota, we are having ceremony 4-5, drinks/photos 5-6.30, dinner 6.30-8.30 and then cocktail hour at Las Rocas 9-11 In the UK it is traditional to have the first dance after the meal so this will be at Las Rocas for us, followed by dancing and drinking! I am going to ask Vanessa if we can pay a little extra and stay till 12 though as I notice Carlota is able to stay till midnight. This is the great thing about these forums, you get ideas and information you would never think to ask for. Lauren – great question as to when and how to give payment/tips … I’d be interested in everyone’s opinions here too. I guess it would usually be the best man’s job to take care of all the money but it might be nice to deal with it all beforehand if possible. Chreetena – Oh my goodness, it will be you so soon. I hope you are all organised and relaxing now and really just looking forward to a wonderful wedding and holiday into the bargain! I can’t wait to hear all about it – hopefully it will be the wedding of your dreams. Good Luck!

May ride thank you so much for your review and in so sorry to hear that everything don't go perfectly for you. I agree with the there's though that your look beautiful and I hope as you said, one day you will look back with a smile on your wedding day. Your comments will be really helpful or us and I'll deinitely take 2 copies if all correspondence and maybe make a chek list of questions or things I wa to clarify with the WC at our meeting as it seems we only get that one chance and as you said it will go so quick I may forget something's! Carlota, like Lauren, I'd also love to see the word document you sent (if its in English and you're happy to share) as Vanessa is also my WC and if he's happy with yours she might like if I did something similar. It's so grey that we have this forum to get all out ideas worries and questions out there. I don't know I I'd have been able to book a DW without it! Christina I'm very excited for you, not long now, like ou I was thinking of mikeycelle and hoping her daywet beautifully! Can't wait to hear all about it
