    For those of you that got married in May/June.. what was the weather like at night? I'm debating on having Pashminas for everyone, but don't want to do it if it's going to still be warm.

    Well said Ivietti. I definitely agree with you on everything. I was confused on all of that. But Laurin, it still looks like your wedding turned out beautiful (love the table set up and colors)! and the pictures look so great! Did they have those candle holders on the tables already there? Did you use their videographer? For those of you who had a good experience with the DJ, would you suggest not having a strict list to follow?? I don't want to make out a huge list if he's not going to play what I want. I'd rather give him an idea of the music I like and then have him take it from there.

    We had to put $1000 non refundable deposit down to hold the date. I believe this is the set amount. If you cancel, you can use this toward Vallarta Adventure tours.

    I was just going through the schedule of the day's events, and was wondering how the pictures went in between the ceremony and cocktail hour. It looks to me like there's only an hour for that. Did anyone have any problems getting all the pictures you wanted? I know I have no other choice, but it just seems so short....

    For anyone that got married in June, was there enough time in between the ceremony and dinner for pictures??

    A few questions I've randomly come up with: 1. What did you girls think of the DJ's actual sound? Did he sound good? 2. Are there drinks on the boat for the guests on the way to Las Caletas and if so, is it a cash bar? 3. Everyone is now getting me worried that I should add the extra hour.. I was just worried about those who might want to go back right away.. did anyone have problems with that?

    Everyone is arriving Saturday, so we are having a Welcome Party that night. My parents are throwing it in their suite and we are having cocktails, tacos, chips, and salsa. Welcome to Mexico everyone! My mom is also creating a daily drink using our names ("Danberry Vodka" and "Kristini"). So everyone is welcome to stop in for the drink of the day every day/evening.

    I'm having a wedding next June and my aunt just got done making my invitations. I think they are pretty simple, straightforward, and I love how they turned out!

    Ali- Congratulations! I can't believe it rained so much and you were okay with it!! I'm happy to hear that you guys all made the best of it and had an amazing time!! How did the sky lanterns work out for you? Did you give one to each couple or was it only for you guys? Were they hard to use? Can't wait to see pictures!

    For those of you who hired the videographer from Vallarta Adventures... did you like the video? Was it a normal video with people talking or was it just background music the whole time? I've been looking at samples and I'm not liking the music only videos.. but wasn't sure if that was for a different reason.

    Does anyone know how much hair is for the other girls? I'm thinking of paying for my bridesmaid's to get their hair done if they want and need to know how much I should be expecting to pay.

    Last I heard from her was last Wednesday, the 21st. She confirmed the deposit on my date.

    Has anyone or will anyone be getting legally married down there? I know it's an option, but my mom is worried about it and how 'safe' it is and all that. I would prefer to get married on my actual wedding day, but not sure if it's the smartest choice. Just curious to know of past experiences and how complicated it is or what not!

    Hi! We just got engaged and we are hopefully having our wedding at Las Caletas July 2012! Does anyone know what the weather is like? Does it really rain a lot??

    Has anyone gotten married at Las Caletas in the middle of June or end of July? We were thinking of a wedding next July, but worried about 'rainy' season. Not sure if I should worry about it interfering with the big day!
