Hi Ladies! Just checking in and seeing how everyone is doing with their weight loss/fitness goals!? I am starting my 4th week of Insanity, I have yet to see any results, but I can't imagine I won't soon! The work outs are...well....INSANE! Hope everyone is doing well!

Hi ladies! Just checking in and seeing how your weekend was along with your work outs last week/end. I am now starting my 4th week. I still haven't seen any changes in my body and my clothes still feel the same But my sis said that I look like I have lost some weight, so who knows!? I am going to Palm Springs to visit my grandparents Thursday-Sunday of this week, which is great, but bad too. I may miss a couple work outs because of it, but....they do have a DVD player in the hotel. It just may be difficult as we are going out there to see my grandfather who broke his femur, so we want to spend as much time with them as possible....Not to mention we are going out to dinner every night we are there....EEEKK! So glad I will be able to do 2 rounds of Insanity before my wedding! Keep up the good work ladies!!!

Hi Julia14 and Welcome! From what I have been told you can't have a reception on the beach. But....The coordinators tend to give different information to different people. Or it may be possible they may change that for the 2012 year? I would double check with the your Miami coordinator. As for a wedding on the beach, I unfortunately can't answer that for ya as I am choosing one of their gazebos, but I am sure someone can help you out with that on here!!!

Hello Everyone! It looks like a lot of you had a great weekend! I actually have gotten several items for our wedding. The key card holders came in along with the coil wristlets to go with them. Our Maracas came in as well. I was able to purchase our OOT bags from Target and I can't wait to start filling those! Now the fun stuff can begin! Hope everyone is doing well!

Beautiful dress and you daughter sounds/looks amazing!!!! So, the company doesn't make the dress in any other color? That's a bummer!!! I can understand it's hard for her to find a dress that she likes. I had my younger sister keep trying on dresses that didn't come in the color I wanted. I didn't care what the dress looked like, the only requirement was that both my sisters find a dress in a fuchsia color. So, I had my younger sis keep trying on dresses until she found one that she liked and it came in a fuchsia color. I think that if you want light pink or fuchsia, IMO you ladies should keep lookin' away. It sounds a little like you won't be happy with coral and fuchsia and I don't think I would be either....Good luck and I hope she finds something that she likes soon!!!

Hi SummerDawn! I am sooo sorry to hear about your grandmother!!! Big Hugs to you!!!!! Both my mom and FI's mom passed 2 years ago and we are going to reserve a chair for them at the ceremony with a flower on it as well as have a table with their pictures on it. I think it would be cute if they were pix of them when they got married, but I am sure my dad's wife would freak if I had a pic of my mom and dad on their wedding day! HAHAHA, actually it would be hilarious...Anyways...back to you! I also worked for a company that also did charms and her work it great! She specifically has bridal charms as well. So, I would look into Kimbra Studios as well as Etsy. kimbrastudios.com. If I was doing a charm I would use Kimbra hands down!!!

hmmm...I see why this is touch, it is her money that is helping pay for the wedding, but it is YOUR wedding, and it's not fair to take your budget to pay for her friends. It is NOT rude to ask your guests to pay for their own accommodations, that is what the majority of us have to do, we can't pay for our guests... If that were me, I would tell my dad that I don't feel it's necessary to pay for the guests and that as you understand and appreciate her help, if it's really supposed to be your gift then you should get in say so in how much you want to spend on the wedding. I would definitely talk to her one way or another, at least to contain her guest list! BTW-I have been to The Royal for a destination wedding and you will LOVE it, the hotel, wedding, everything!!! YAY!! That is very exciting. I found out yesterday that my dress came in, best feeling!!

Hi ladies!! I was supposed to do the fit test yesterday but....I just couldn't do it, as I just said above my body was just too tired. I actually got so upset with myself, though! HA!!! So, that's motivation to keep at it. Anyways...I did the fit test tonight. I have not seen any physical results but whoa!!! my stamina and cardiovascular has improved so much. I am posting my results for all the girls that just started or are about ready to, mind you you, your 1st fit test number may be my 2nd weeks number, but again, it's just to give you an idea of how much you improve in just 2 short weeks! It made me very motivated all over again!!! So without further adieu... (first numbers shown are first test, obviously ) 1. Switch Kicks 40 55 2. Power Jack 37 47 3. Power Knees 71 93 4. Power Jumps 14 28 5. Globe Jumps 3 8 6. Suicide Jumps 5 14 7. Push up Jacks (I had to do knee push ups the first time and only got 17) Today I did 12 actual push-up jacks YAY!!! 8. Low Plank Oblique 23 28 So, I hope that helps you ladies with motivation somewhat!!! Keep it up!!!

I could totally understand that! However, you worked so hard before the wedding, a little break is much deserved! I actually took yesterday off too, my body was just too tired! The 2nd fit test was great, I am actually going to post my results next to show that you can get your stamina up in a short time!

AAHH! You (and bride2012) totally motivated me to get started after I read through this thread! You both look so amazing! I am sure you look like you did at your wedding still! The 6 days a week is a little intense I am finding! You AHR will be so much fun! YAY!!!

Hi Ladies, Hope you all had a good weekend! So, I am excited as my dress has come in. A lot earlier than expected, so that is exciting. We ordered my wedding band and my FI and I are going to go in tonight to see what our jeweler has created for my FI. I am pretty sure, that no one else is booking, which means, I can start on OOT bags and all the fun stuff here really soon! YAY!!!!

I do! She has been very sweet and pretty quick considering I am still far out, but now that I got my locations reserved I am not really going to "bother" her until it gets closer for me! She did answer one of my questions from earlier this week today! So, I think she's great!

OMG, are we having the same wedding? HA, j/k! but this sounds almost exactly like me and FI. I have also traveled for friends, so I assumed they liked me enough to do the same. The only friend we have going is my FI's GM, and that was a struggle to get him and his wife to go! We have 19 coming and 2 of those people are kids 7 and under. The rest is immediate family (mostly mine) coming. But hey, at least we have some peeps there! And you are right, it is going to be soooooo much fun!!!!
