Hi ladies! Happy Friday! Hope everyone is coming along with their planning. I have actually gotten some stuff done pertaining to our OOT bags and otherwise. Can't wait to finish them up. I spent all day yesterday (no I didn't do any work) downloading and putting together all the labels, games, what have you. It pretty much took me all day!! HA! Who knew! But I think I have found everything label wise, letter wise etc.. I need and tweaked it to my liking or doing. I also found the label and wording for our maracas (shake for a kiss). I also put together our wedding script, again ideas taken from this site! So, now I wait for all my OOT items to come in the mail that I ordered online. Now I need to concentrate on uploading music, since we are doing the I-Pod set up instead of a DJ!!! I will post pix when I have put everything together! I just want to say this site is AMAZING!!! I wouldn't have done what I am doing without you ladies and the rest of this site!!!

That better not be true! If that's the case, for me I would have just got all the stuff at the MP instead!!! It would be cheaper as I only have 20 people coming!!!! I already bought my chair bows and table runners. I will be livid!

I really hope that your FI comes around! If not, I think you should have a heart to heart with him! He needs to understand that sometimes couples just need to pay wedding stuff together! (Not to mention I would want to get a feel of how he was going to be during the marriage with "his" money). And if your mom isn't covering something, then I feel he should have no problem paying for that stuff! It shouldn't all be on you and your parent's. Also for a man to say I paid for your ring is kind of hurtful. All men pay for engagement rings and yet most men are still willing to help out financially with the wedding! That's not fair to you!! I so hope you guys work through this and everything works out and no longer stresses you out! Money is stressful enough without a wedding!!!!!

OMG!!!!! I would be soooooooooo p!ssed! That seems completely inexcusable! I am soo soo soo very sorry this happening 3 days before your reception! I hope you get everything worked out! Keep us posted!!! and GOOD LUCK!!!! I really dislike that as well! But I think my least favorite it Cardio Plyo one! I have to do that one tonight! ick! The only reason I tolerate Pure Cardio is because you aren't doing the all repetitions.

But like most of the others have said, I am confused why it would be an issue for him to help pay for his and your wedding? I don't agree that your mom should use your wedding budget for her friends, that should come out separately. Maybe that is what his problem is, your mom offers you money and then gives it to her friends? Many of us do not understand this situation as a lot of us are paying for our weddings ourselves with NO outside help, so that leads me back to your FI. I cannot fathom why your FI would not contribute? That's just crazy to me! My FI and I have both used our savings (personal and joint) without problem or question. I would be pretty upset if my FI was refusing to help pay! and I would questions him as to why he won't help, and is this how it's going to be when your married???? I disagree with getting a CC unless you can pay it off every month (which is what we do) but a lot of people can't do that, so I would not go into debt for it! Hope you get it figured out!!! Both are beautiful but I like #2. However, like all the other ladies have said you may feel differently once it's on you. Definitely go to a salon and try on those 2 styles (or all styles) and see which one flatters you more! Good luck!!!

No, I don't! However, I actually started with Janina and ended up with Ivis. I just politely e-mailed Janina many times to get our contract. I wanted to get our save the dates out ASAP since we only had 9 months ( I wanted to give people as much time as possible).

I know it feels stressful, but you will get everything worked out. It seems stressful because everyone has amazing ideas~! Pick and choose what works for you and FI and you will be just fine!!! Happy Planning!!!

I haven't heard of P.I.N.K either??? I am actually doing INSANITY (another beach body product) and am in my 5th week. I like it because you don't need to buy anything else but the videos. You just need yourself! Also, FI and I bought our videos directly from beachbody. I have heard too many people receiving counterfeit videos that either don't work, skip or are missing workouts so just be privy to who you buy from. You can do it!!! You have to pick something and like aquamaniac said, find something you think you can stick with! Good luck!!!

Hi ladies, I forgot to add that we figured out the dates of my bridal shower and Bachelorette Party. YAY!!! March, 24th for bridal shower and April 28th for the bach party. I am bummed a little though.... I wanted to go the mountains for my bach party but it is after ski season ends which means it's a ghost town up there until memorial day! Restaurants, bars and even some hotels close for about a month So sad, I really didn't want to do the bar hopping in Denver type party so hopefully my sister (MOH) is creative enough, but she knows I don't want to do that, so we shall see...

It's actually comical to me that people are still saying the brides family pays for the majority. It's a very old fashioned way of thinking. However, FI and I are also paying for the wedding ourselves. I am paying for my own dress and accessories as well. At least this way we can do whatever we want!

Agreed!!! Not sure why they are making a huge fuss out of photogs! Especially since most of them have been to the MP many many times! We are also getting our photog a night, but I made MP put it in our contract so I wouldn't be surprised with hidden costs later!
