All right ladies! Here are some pix of my Boarding Pass invites. My fingers and forearms are killing me but it was all well worth it!!! HAHAHAHA. Now I just need to get them addressed and sent out! Put together 5 pages for the invite Ticket Jacket Raffia around the jacket. Thanks again Coco for all the templates. Once I have them addressed and ready to send, I will post the templates on the DIY thread!

Hi ladies! I printed out my invites. It only took 3 painful hours, major printer issues. Now time to put them together! Will post as soon as possible. I am still waiting for my raffia to be delivered, though. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Thanks! We are going to FI's office early tomorrow morning to print them off! hee hee! He works in the field, so we are on the DL and sneaking in. But I prefer his work printer as it's laser and mine at work is ink jet. Let the assembly line and wine drinking begin!!! God knows, I am in need of some serious alcohol after the week I have had!!!

YAY for the room nights, but UUUGGHHH for everything else! I am sure we all can relate in some way shape or form. I hope they respond soon with a "of course we will be there". I just found out that yet another "friend" is not coming. I swear not one person has even tried to save for it! makes me soo sad, I am losing sleep over the fact that none of my "friends" and extended family want to come to my wedding. Like you said, how soon they forget all the nice (and expensive) things we have done for them. I know it's about me and FI but it still hurts that none of my friends (and extended family) will even consider going before they say no. Then they act shocked when I tell them we aren't having an AHR. I so hope that things work out with FI's daughter! That would be soo sad if she couldn't go because of a passport! Hello!!! So I received my paper yesterday! It's going to be a fun weekend of putting together invites! WOOT WOOT! I wish I could have started yesterday as I took the day off, but we don't have color in our printer, so I need work printers! HA!!!!

Thanks ladies! I just talked to FI and insurance is only going to give us $500 for my jewelry!!! Apparently we didn't have the right coverage! How the hell were we supposed to know that? Our insurance agent should have made sure we were covered all over the board! For her not to even mention jewelry insurance and inheritance insurance is so upsetting to me! We don't do insurance, we figured our policy had us covered! So needless to say I am crying all over again and probably going to have to leave work! Doesn't seem appropriate to be weeping at work! Everyone keeps saying to look at pawn shops, but there are soo many, not sure where to start???? So sad!!!! Thanks for the love!!!

Hey Girls! I am sooo sad! Our house was broken into yesterday while we were at work! They took ALL of my jewelry and that includes ALL the jewelry I inherited from my mom when she died. Let's just say, it was worth a lot money wise and sentimentally!!!! I was going to put it all in a safety deposit box shortly too! I am soooo very sad! They have everything, everything that I have gotten over the years from grandparents, etc....I thankfully have my the jewelry I was wearing (engagement ring, bulova watch and tiffany necklace) But that's it for all my nice jewelry. They also took our crappy laptop and all of our change. They didn't take coach purses or gucci purse but all the change out of those purses? Not sure how they found all my jewelry, but they did! Lesson learned. Anything worth that much, put in a safe or safety deposit box. The kicker is....our homeowner insurance probably won't cover it either!!!! I want to beat the MOFOs up that did this!!!!

I went to Michaels and they didn't have what I wanted, so I ordered it online today.

I am freaking out about flights! They definitely haven't gone down, but rather they keep going up! People are already not happy with how much the hotel is, so I am sure we are going to lose even more people now that flights are so absurd!!!!

Happy Halloween fellow MP brides! Hope everyone had a great, fun and productive weekend! I will be receiving my paper on Wednesday for my invites. I went to Michaels and bought almost every tool that I need. Now I need to find raffia and either star fish or palm tree beads to attach as well. I am sure my sister is so excited to start working on these next weekend! All I know is, is that i am!! HUGS!!!!

WOO HOOO!!!!!!!!!! DND's look amazing! I plan on drinking through any and all DYI projects! I think they look great!!! I LOVE the colors!!! I hope it got a little easier for ya~~~ lyates! There is so much info on here. Like COCO said, most of us were not/are not DYI people, but when you want to save some money it's definitely the the way to go. I am making my own invites, and bringing down my own chair sashes and table runners. I will get flowers at the resort or from another florist in Cancun. Good luck!!! YAY! that's the fun stuff! I had jury duty in Sept. I am called every other year, so I FEEL your pain for sure!!!!

TGIF Chicas!!!! I am going to order my paper for my invites today and hopefully get that in sometime next week. Then I am hoping to put together the invites next weekend (assuming I get the paper in) I am going to mentally prepare for the long process and with my good friend (red wine) and my MOH aka sister, we should have a good time doing it! Also, last night, FI and I started our registries. We went to Crate and Barrel and Bed Bath and Beyond! We did great at Crate & Barrel, meaning we were all lovey dovey and had so much fun, but at BBB, we started to argue over that simple kitchen ware, he was being so picky!!! SO FUNNY! As we were leaving we were like, um...sorry! HA!!! This is why I love my FI!!!!

That is kind of a bittersweet situation for you! So exciting to have a little niece or nephew, but a total bummer that they can't come now!!! I am really close with all my sibs, so I would be sad if they couldn't be at my wedding. At least it's a great reason to miss your wedding! I am sure they are bummed too!

Thank you Merryleee!!! I am hoping the colors will look as close as they can. I showed the invites to the groomsman and his wife and they thought they were the coolest things. I am going to try not to worry about it, as I don't think most peeps will notice! BUT.....we shall see can't wait to see the barefoot jewelry!! good luck!!!

ps...I DO NOT think the t-shirt is a bad idea, just funny how our FI's can be so out of touch with the wedding and then they come up with some (what we think) random idea. That's whats so funny!
