Mar1ssa! I know it seems so overwhelming, but in time you will find the information you are looking for. You are a little ways out, so most of the information you receive will most likely be from this site/thread! Palace resorts has great incentives for Bride and Grooms. It is true if you have xx amount of rooms/nights booked that you can receive anything from a free cocktail hour to having all of your "events" for free. But there are stipulations to this! I would recommend working with a TA that specializes in DW's. ps...they resorts take their sweet time getting back to you and most likely will not make you a priority until it gets closer to your wedding. Hi girls! So, I worked on the key card holders for Mexico. I actually took the template from YWS2012! Thanks girl!!! It's just the template, but I will print them out with the left over paper I have from my invites. Once I do that and get the key card holder themselves, I will then re-post! First off!! thank you ladies for the compliments on my sister's dresses!!!! These are sooo cute! I love them!!!! Like Coco, we getting married here first too, just to save us the hassle of having to work out the legalities later. I know, right!?!? People used to think I was the older sister and I am 8 1/2 years younger than her. HAHAHA! Thankfully for me, most don't think that anymore. She is super young looking!

Hi Ladies, I just put down the deposit on my sister's BM dresses. Both dresses will be in a fuchsia/hot pink color. There is a huge age difference between them, so their tastes are totally different, so I let them choose the dress that looked best on them. Here is my older sister in what will be her dress. She is covering up a huge flower that you can detach (which she will do) The dresses behind her show the color of what her dress will be. Here is my younger sister in the dress she chose! Again, will be in a fuchsia/hot pink color.

Hola Chicas! I hope you all had a great weekend! I finally put down the deposit on my sister's dresses! They will both be in a fuchsia color. Since they are completely different I am a little worried about the colors matching (enough) but it should be fine! My older sister is 41 and my younger sister is 22, so they have completely different tastes and since I wanted fuschia dresses they had to get actual BM dresses. Because of this, I let them pick the dress they like the best on themselves. Here are the pix of the dresses they picked. The note cards look soooo professional!!!! Amazing job, once again! AWWW!!! I really like them! I found my mom's garter cleaning out her house after she passed and I decided to wear that, but this makes me want to get a new one!!!! I do not think that is too early. You have to remember everything will probably take longer than you expect that day too. I say give you and your girls ample time to beatify yourselves!!!

All right, I just read this entire thread! You ladies are soooo inspiring! Loved the before and after pix! FI and I have been talking about ordering either Insanity or P90x since both or our gym memberships have expired and were debating on whether we should re-new them to save money. This thread has motivated me to order Insanity! I am afraid, but I really need to whip my body into shape again! Thanks for all the posts for motivation, hopefully I can become an active member on this thread in the next several months!

Ya, we are less than 6 months now. I just don't understand how some are "lucky" enough to get responses and their locations. I have been very nice and persistent with them! I am at a loss! But all is want is my locations, I can wait for everything else! Thank you!!! But this just re-iterates my point. How are you getting such great repsons's and your wedding is after mine???? I have 7 different e-mail addresses and nothin'. I appreciate you giving me the manager's e-mail. Never thought I would get that one. Thank you!!!!

I did do that! I have sent several e-mails with 10-20 questions on there and NADA! The only reason I feel frustrated now, is because so many other ladies on here have their locations and receive responses, etc...I just don't know what else to do. Apparently I need to have my minor break downs now and again! HAHAHA!

Hi Ladies! So, what am I doing wrong!? I have managed to only get my information about wedding locations, food, etc... from several of you! THANK YOU, I am muy appreciative and you have kept my sanity up til now! But....recently after reading through this thread, how are so many that contacted MP after me getting so much more info from them? I feel like I am doing something wrong and I have been trying to be very patient! I am saying this, because now I am getting stressed that my wedding is going to be fly by the seat of your pants type event. I feel like I can't do anything until someone will answer all my questions and I have yet to have them answered by anyone associated with MP. They REFUSE to reserve my locations until 90 days before despite my consistent attempts to contact them!!!! And one of the locations is already booked, so another question is, if I can't book my locations now, how did so many others!!!!! HELP!!!! What do I do!?!?!?! I am feeling stressed now!

From what I have read you, have been updated pretty well! This thread and all the ladies on here are so helpful and just wonderful in general. I am still having a hard time reserving my locations. I just got an e-mail stating they won't officially reserve our locations until 90 days before! I kind of give up! Not sure how so many have already gotten their locations and I have asked 10 times to no avail, so I guess it is what it is! Summer, I can understand why you feel the way you do! No one would want to hear that! But you need to do what right for you! IMO, I probably just state that you are upset, etc... but would wait on an upgrade. I hope you guys work it out and again, I would be upset by this too. Mca1116 !!! Like I stated earlier to lurker dan, I am having issues getting my locations reserved. MP just won't do it for me, which is driving me a little batty since so many on here getting married a month before me have had their locations reserved for months! I am constantly being told I have to wait until the 90 day mark too! It can be really frustrating, but if you just prepare yourself, it isn't too bad. I have my days where I want to cry because they won't help me, and others I just brush it off! It will work out how it is supposed to!!! I think I am having a shower, only because I don't have any friends coming to the wedding and they must feel bad, because they all want me to have a shower! But like you, I don't want my sisters (my bridal party) to have to pay even more for this, so I kind of go back and forth about it! We noticed that too! As of now we are still planning on a reception, only because we want to do that for our guests, but....if something changes financially we may have to use the dinner reservation. It's really hard, because it is a huge expense. I too, want the reception/wedding feel. So, I guess it depends on how much you feel it is worth? Is it worth it for you guys to spend so much on a reception when the dinner reservation may be just as good as a private reception? It is frustrating that people didn't use your TA too! But I honestly think whatever you decide will be beautiful and so much fun for everyone, including you and your FI. I really don't think you can go wrong! Welcome back beatyea! I am sooo sorry that FI's family is not only not going to your wedding, but had the audacity to tell you on the RSVP card and not on the phone or in person. I would feel so betrayed!
