  1. Great thread! And yes, I would have to say my favorite part of the thread was your son stealing the show; too cute! You looked amazing in your dress and it looks like it was just made for you. Looks like you had a great group of people and you had a lot of fun!
  2. So glad I saw this! I will be back in the morning with enough items to finish ioff the order; I was just on this site the other day trying to come up with $75 worth of stuff! I am so in!!
  3. I was thinking that as well that if iI put them in the bags they would be forgotten by the time the wedding occurred a few days later. I did a test run of my own I Spy cards tonight and I put two cards on one sheet of cardstock. I put the step by step instructions on how to upload to our photobucket account on the back of the cards (for those that may not be as tech savvy). I will put one card on each table and probably find something to display the card where both sides will be seen. In addition, I am still going to make business sized cards with our photobucket username and password on it. These will probably be in a stack near the table with the favors.
  4. I plan to do a â€thank you†photobook for my guests with mainly pictures of my guests and very few of me and my FI. The book will be a mini book from publisher. I want to make sure I get pictures of each and every guest and don't want to bog my photographer (my brother) with getting candid shots of all the guests so I am going to enlist the help of my guests. I initially was going to do a scavenger hunt, giving cameras to my 2 teenage guests and have them to get my shots for me but I think I want to do â€I Spy†and have all my guests get shots for me. (still may do the cameras just for the boys just to keep them busy!) This is a copy of a card I found online and I plan to recreate something similar. I am trying to decide if I should include these in their OOT bags or put them on the tables at our reception. (I will be putting the information for photobucket on the back of the â€I Spy†cards; that will actually save me from doing a seperate photoshare card) Thoughts?
  5. Update: I contacted customer service at 1worldsarongs.com and asked them about giving me a quote on 25 sarongs as I plan on putting a sarong in each OOT bag (for hthe ladies). She was very helpful and quoted me a price of $267 for 25 sarongs and ties. I thought that was a good price because I was going to just go with the half sarongs to try to save money but this is a quote for full size sarongs!
  6. Thanks! I really don't want to have to transport them so I will check to see if I can get them delivered to the resort.
  7. I couldn't find that particular seller on etsy but iI found some more that offer the camera cutouts. It appears that the cutiuts are 2 x 2 1/2 inches. A regular business card is 2 x 3 1/2 inches. How do you compensate for the business card being an inch shorter? I really want to do this but I didnt want to have to custom make the cards. Any ideas?
  8. Thanks for the responses ladies. I am thinking I will start looking for them once I get off the plane. I have to find a market there anyway to get some local snacks to put in my bags (plantain chips, etc.) so I will be looking for the mini bottles as well. When I asked my on site wedding planner if she could recommend a local vendor to purchase them from once i get there and she told me she didn't (which I find very hard to believe) and she reminded me that there would be a corkage fee if one of my guests popped a bottle at the reception. It rubbed me the wrong way because I never even said I was giving them as favors at the reception, I plan to put them in the guests bags.
  9. Can you explain your process for using the shrink wrap on the chapstick? Thanks!
  10. Oh my! Everything looks really good. I absolutely love your formal invite and the packaging with the little luggage is my favorite!!! Your guests will still be talking about the invitation even when they get to the wedding. I would like the template for your chapsticks. I have been deciding whether or not to include them simply because I wasn't sure about the labels. You said you used Avery labels. Did you use just the plain return address labels? Also, did you put two labels on each chapstick? I was going to design a label and order it from vistaprint but I am still unclear about wrapping the label around and making sure it overlaps, etc. Can you elaborate? Thanks in advance!
  11. I have looked through all the threads on Appleton Rum favors and have emailed any and every person that I saw an email address for but I have never received a response. My wedding is in August and I will need approximately 38 bottles. I have read somewhere that brides have just purchased them once they got off the plane at a little shop near the airport. I am wondering if I should just go that route or has anyone gotten a response from someone at Wray & Nephew recently? Thanks in advance!
  12. I like the way you separated all of your "to do" activities based on your time availability; I am doing the exact same thing! I am going to check out efavormart for me sashes as well as I will be needing some. I ordered samples from cvlinens but I think the ones you mentioned are a better price. Can't wait to see more of what you are planning!!
