I'm going to get aloe, only cause they can use it for other things.

I just bought the contents for my OOT bags.I spent $109.74 for all contents for 60 bags. I also spent $68 dollars on amazon for the bulk pepto packets, advil, tums, and alka selzter. I'm practically done with the bag, a few more items and another thing checked. I got all the items from the websites I posted on here. I'm glad you ladies are using them to your advantage.

I'M BACK!!! Seems like i missed A LOT...
Wedding is in May and I'm not just confirming everything.. I have about 25 ppl booked and there are still some people procracinating.. With everything I think I still need to book my reception, get favors, and finish the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Still so much!

I ordered from them recently and got two cases. They are very good quality!! The only thing is when you order they come in a variety pack and most of them are clear.

OMG!!! I'm sooo inspired by your thread and planning!!!! You did such a beautiful job... I know your wedding was beautiful and you were a beautiful bride. There is soo much stuff on here for inspiration and it's encouraging to know that you pulled this off without tons of help because I'm in the same boat. I have so many ideas with 8 months left to go, and practically no help. So you just encouraged me soo much to keep on moving.. Thanks!!!

thanks for the flagging.
on-topic. I am super interested in trying Insanity. I tried P90X but could not get past all the equipment needed...too much effort.
do you need to get anything for INSANITY (rubber bands, special weights, door way pull up bar, etc)?
is in insane...? like do i need to be in super shape to do it...i am super lazy and hate working out but really need to lose about 18 lbs.
yes it's completely insane and there are absolutely no equipment needed, unless you want to use a mat. I do like it better then p90x because of the lack of equipment but it is definitely much harder. You don't have to be in "super shape" but I also don't recommend someone being completely out of shape doing it because it requires tons of jumping exercises. Just like you I really hate working out, I'm not completely lazy I'm just always exhausted from my extremely busy life so working out always seems like the last priority for me. Hopes this helps!

Congrats passionsarcasm !!!
I'm game for getting together again. How about Friday, September 14th? We can do the floating apple or brass monkey, but if you find something else you would like just let me know.

Thanks for the review.. Does it have a zipper?

I got my totes from cheaptotes.com at .88 a piece. Haven't gotten them in yet but I'll update on the quality when I do. Also found a great site for linens, weddinglinensdirect.com. They have a great color selection, and their sashes are only .89 cents, sold in ten packs. I ordered satin samples and their quality is very good:)
Thanks for the finds. I posted weddinglinensdirect.com here already. but I love their embroidered design linen.

I was originally going to do these starfish bottle openers as my favors, (ummm, I already bought a box of 100 months ago)....now I kind of wish I waited....(UGH!)
Now I think I may just add them to my OOT bags (2 per bag) and do the amol maracas as my favor instead,,,,still unsure...I really love the maraca poem & the idea of the guests shaking these to see us kiss!!! I am sure it's something they never heard of before. I am thinking of special ordering them in my colors of blue, green and pink (not shown). Having bottle openers and maracas on the table would be just TOO MUCH & TOO BUSY!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you! The starfish bottle openers are beautiful. I'd do those over the maracas because when they go to Mexico they will see the same maracas everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE! They are very popular at the gift shops.

The bulbs are very expensive if you have a lot of guest coming. I plan to get the seeds since I have about 60 guest. I'm going to order them on ebay because most nurseries will not deliver them until April - June. I have order plants in the past on ebay and have had no problems. When I get the a sellers information I will post it here.

Thank you! let me tell you it's soo much better to start now because when you cram your forget things.

yay finally figured out what I'm going to give my wedding guest as favors. We wanted to do something inexpensive since we are already giving out OOT bags. After searching and thinking about this I have decided to give out dahlia flower seeds. I wanted to do something that represented Mexico, us, and be sentimental, so I researched Mexico's national flower and found out dahlia's were it. I looked up dahlia's and was amazed at how beautiful the flower is. I went to my horticulture guy here at work and asked him about the flower and he gave me the scoop on the flower such as germination, and longevity. He printed out a "how to for dahlias" for me and explained that they are attention-whored flowers (I just made that up).
So to incorporate "us" in this I looked up the symbolic meaning and it reads
"Love and Dahlia's
Symbolizing hope for an everlasting union between two people, dahlia flowers are presented to couples at engagement parties and weddings. These flowers, which bloom in white and a variety of showy hues, including pink, crimson, orange and yellow, are given as an anniversary gift in celebration of 14 years of marriage, although the origin of this tradition is unknown
Perfect!! Next I found some ways to gift wrap to give them out, (this part I'm still pondering). One was in treasure chest boxes I found on papermart (link below). I would decorate the box to leave on the dinner plate as part of the decor for the reception. http://www.papermart.com/Product%20Pages/Product.aspx?GroupID=16936&ParentGroupID=18900
The other way I found on Martha Stewart's DIY website (link below) I would also leave these on the dinner plates at the reception but I was thinking that I might not could do this because I would need to put the "how to" inside. So I may go with the treasure box. http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/226340/paper-dahlia
Another thing I found from a buyer on Etsy was dahlia resin's. which I would use in my decoration for the treasure box. I have spoken to the lady Erin and she is very nice. She said she would do a custom order for my wedding colors. I wanted to put some sort of picture on the treasure box so that people know what they look like and the dahlia resins are perfect. http://www.etsy.com/shop/ohwhatfunatl
Once I'm finished with the project I will post it on here for any bride who would like to do this. Please let me know your suggestions, comments, and anything else you would like to add.

I just want lots of candle light. Miss you girls over here! Its been SO busy!
I have also put the "finding a dress" part off. For one, I envision a particular look, and since I not to long ago had a baby my body isn't what I envision at this time. Also, I would rather wait until I have at least my MOH with me because I don't have a mother or sisters to go with me and that seems like the traditional thing to do. ChocoTaco7568 is correct in timing so I may have to get that done sooner then later.

Groupon has the $17 for $70 worth of items going on now. I got one yesterday.

Round corner punch & square hole punch
Here is another view, as the colors vary in different lighting [due to the shimmer paper]
The color really pops nicely in person, you can get a better idea of it by this one below:
As for the envelopes, I was able to print directly onto them! Just do a test first to be sure they will go through your printer without jamming or smearing!
I used Powerpoint to create these because it allowed me to recolor to my liking and edit each image. I'm not sure if it was the printer or the paper, but the original colors I used came out totally different when they printed [came out all red]! It took a bit of modifying, but it worked out just fine.

I downloaded the FREE template from Aylee Bits! I actually deleted all of the information that was already included, so I also created a blank template for those of you who want to make one from scratch as I have.
I am thrilled with the final product, and hope you all like them as much as I do!!
They are gorgeous!!! I love the colors...Congrats!!
