Well, I started with the other things that I didn't need a guest count on. I did do my boarding pass invites on the words of those who were coming, so hopefully when they get them they are indeed coming. I have done my luggage tags and started my poms for decorations. My next project is my bouquets and I am pretty sure I'll be able to order my bags and tee then also. I even went on eBay and ordered a Cricut & Cuttlebug because of the place cards one of the other brides posted (I figured it'll be an investment, LOL) I am horrible!!!

What kind of flowers are you using? Are you doing real touch or silk (I can't seem to make the decision). Yet I have decided on roses & mums.....

I agree with JMastr...first and foremost, what will make you happy?!?!? I started with a DW in Jamaica, only to change it to Florida to attempt to accomodate others. I started with a party of 40, then grew to a guest list of 150, only to have a party of 25 now and I am completly happy with my decision to have a DW in Dominican Republic. There will always be pros and cons to all decisions and trust there will always be more negative people than positive people. Everyone will not support your decision but remember this is your day, not their's. My mother and grandfather said it the best, I spent so much time trying to accomodate other people by having my wedding in Florida (I live in Virginia) that I was not happy at all. Now that I am having a wedding in November in the Dominican Republic, everything is falling right into place perfectly!!!

Did she ever show the list of the dresses? Would be interested in a second dress also.

Wondering what it is that you have left. Can you make an updated list if it isn't too much of a hassle. Thanks

Date twin - don't do me like that I didn't catch your pics of your favors or decorations. What did you do for decorations? I started my poms this weekend, and I am mighty impressed. I have to order my flowers too (going to try and do my own bouquets). I figure if I try early enough, I can always just go with the resort ones and pay the extra money.

Like many of the other brides I can spend hours upon hours on this site (and I am usually supposed to be working, doing a DIY or even studying - I'm working on my masters), yet I constantly find myself on here adding to my list of things to do! Wow, first I am glad that everything worked out in your favor. You have to be a calmer person than me, because I guarantee Beaches would have heard me yelling at them all the way from Virginia. How do you mess with a bride's wedding day withno recourse or remorse!!! How dare you?!?!? You're story makes me want to be your advocate and even though your TA arranged everything, I still want Beaches to pay. I'm sorry - my husband says I can be a bit dramatic! I also ordered my bridesmaid dresses from a knock off in China. I was a bit nervous about them, they were only $75. Yet they arrived faster than estimated and they all look great quality! I have already passed them on to the girls. I'll make sure to take pics of them the next time I see them!

That's what I would like to do, yet we are slowly running out of time and none of the guys care to notice it. So...I can not and will not stress myself over them! I picked their tux and shoes, and they will just have to wear the dress shoes.

There are plenty of threads on here with the templates. Thing is, if you are a noob like myself, you have to get to 150 posts before you can download anything. Some brides are willing to share and email you their templates to help and some brides are overloaded by the many requests for them, so they just upload the templates.

Oh No!! Are they close to what you originally had? I like the teal and purple, who would make you change your colors and so close to the wedding. I would lose my mind, throw a temper tantrum and go cry in a corner (I'm such a big baby)

That's the problem. I see a lot of new comments on threads that I truly inactive. I want to get to 150 yet, I won't comment on threads just because. Congrats for hitting 150, I'm half way there. Hope I get there before I start my planning thread!

Wow, it is becoming more and more of a reality. I leave exactly 60 days from tomorrow and I feel like I have a lot to do but surprisingly still have my head screwed on tight. If I can get a confirmed guest count from those "other" people, I can move on in my planning. I need to get my OOT bags ordered as well as t-shirts. Maybe I'll put a light under his ass!!

My husband is wearing dress shoes, along with my grandfather (who will be walking me down the aisle). The fellas, I would like for them to wear customized Chucks, yet they are a group of procrastinators, so must likely they will be wearing the dress shoes also

Well my story is in some reminisce to Alicia Keys song "You don't know my name" You know the line where she says this is the waitress at the coffee house. Was I indeed was a server and I was doing to go one night at Chili's, he came in and I was super busy. When it slowed down I got his number, called and gave him mine. He called me a few days later and the rest is history. My mom calls me a stalker and a cougar, LOL

I used my printer at home to print ours out. We have an HP, I used ivory & grey heavy cardstock with no problems!

Your invites are awesome. I just put mine in the mail, only to confirmed guests also. (keep in mind that you need extra postage, I used 64 cent stamps, the post office has some nice wedding cake ones & you can always keep some personalized with zazzle.com) I printed one out for a dummy, to ensure that my cutting was good and all that good stuff! Good luck and I await to see the final project
