I miss one day, just one day and you come back online with three new projects!! It is hard to keep up with you at this rate, yet I have to admit I love it all!!!! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful finds and projects!!!
Oh my gracious. I admitted my addiction on another thread....I absolutely love this site. I stay on it all weekend and spend most of my 'work' days on here also. Planning doesn't seem right without it. To have the support and the grand ideas from other DWB makes it seem effortless without the stress. I love it!
I am totally in love with the orange flowers. Your pics are georgeous, I wish we could see more. I also booked HDC photography for my wedding at the recommendations of the other brides here. Congrats on your big day!!
I love the laker's guys only party invite...how cool!! At first I thought you were handing out tickets, I was like well damn - I need to make a flight to Jamaica and be part of the celebration.
As always, everything is absolutely beautiful!! I know I have already asked this - but - did your paper come in a package or is it loose scrapbook cardstock?
Very well said Venus, I would have to agree with you on that. Unlike some, she rather keep herself relevant than to fight for her lifetime position. I'll stay simple and keep my loving husband and family!
And once again, you help me make my list longer!!! You have definitely turned on my inner Martha Stewart. As soon as I finish my work quota for the day, I will complete my poms for my decorations and I even make a trip to Micheal's and see if I can find a cardstock suite that will match my color scheme...you know everything must coordinate ~~~ Thanks again R!!!
Easy cole379... Open the template in Word. Save it as a PDF. With Adobe Photoshop you can open PDFs. After opening the PDF, create a transparent layer over the PDF and work from there....any more questions feel free to ask!
I have yet to get married there, yet if you go through the Dominican Republic thread there are many ladies who have used outside vendors for linen, photography, and cake. I have yet to read anywhere that they didn't use the onsite wedding planner. Jenny has been all sorts of helpful to myself, so I am not sure why you want to pay the extra money when her services are included in your wedding package, jmo.
It all depends. I printed beige letters on gray & ivory cardstock, so it can work. I used adobe photoshop to create my boarding passes, any light color that I planned to print I added a simple shadow to it to create some kind of outline. Which entail printed the beige letters on different colors.
My planning is going well, as long as I stay away from this site and futuremrstgun's planning thread. The combination of the two are just deadly to my to-do list. Yet I absolutely LOVE it all!! So, I am excited and I keep trucking alone!!! Glad everything worked out for you. Looking for your planning thread.....maybe?!?!
Yay ~ another DLR bride, isn't it exciting!!! I so wish I would have found this sites so much time earlier, yet it as been very helpful in the little time that I did have
Yeah, they will def be a surprise. I plan on shipping mine to my guests, so that they will have them exactly two weeks prior. Don't want to lug all that stuff down to Florida and then to D.R.
LOL, hey now, you probably picked out his clothing, told him where he needed to be, let him decide on his shoes. I know they can't be that terrible, LOL (my husband also wanted some white gucci shoes, although his tux is ivory, MEN!!!)
Yes and with their awesome sales and constant coupons, it's hard not to overstock and that's how I found out about their return policy, I overstocked when my daughter was first born.
LOL, that's me also. My MOH or bridesmaids know all the things that I am doing. It helps that they are in Florida and I am in Virginia. I have a friend up this way who is a willing DIY participant, so that helps. I really don't have to spill the beans at all!!!
I would recommend a 2T (24 months), yet it also depends on how he grows, he may slow down. My daughter grows pretty consistent with her age / size range so I feel very comfortable buying the next size up for her. Yet that is a year away, not sure how you feel about those purchases. I can recommend one thing though, Carter's & OshKosh accepts returns with a receipt up to a year (I keep all receipts) and if anything keep all your receipts for anything you purchase and gage his size...Hope that helps!
Had to qoute you....that's exactly what are situation is. We got the negative feedback, we have the people who won't show up because it's too much money, we have the people who say yes and are taking no actual steps to be a part of it. My mother told me do whatever makes you happy, this is your day not their's. You'll spend your entire life attempting to accomodate others and in the end you'll be the one miserable!!! If they can't bite the bullet to put your happiness above their own, then they shouldn't be a part of YOUR happy moment anyways!
Yes, I know...I have started conversations with many other brides and I like to converse in the active threads. So I am nearly there. Maybe I should just start that thread, maybe
