  1. .27, yeah I would have managed to justify purchasing 40 of them also, I don't know how we as women do it. Yet we can justify buying way too much of cheap things!
  2. I don't believe I have ever posted our rings in this thread so here they are: Here is my band: Here is his band: Here is my ring: Sorry the pics are so big
  3. LOL @ 'our fathers might be in the same town', I am upset that you knew EXACTLY what I meant in reference to my father, that's scary, LOL. The programs actually came from Janet, a Canadian bride (I stalk that thread also, LOL). She shared her programs with me, I edited and changed colors and printed them out. Her share is right on point and make them all so easy to perfect. Bag Tags ~ well do you remember that I am an eBay whore. Well another bride on here mentioned something about a Cuttlebug, so I went on eBay and purchased one for less than half of what they cost in store, brand new. It is an embossing - die cutting machine. Anywho, I used a die cut to cut the bag tags and the tags on the escort cards. Now in that same breath, while I was on eBay stalking a Cuttlebug, I also stalked a Cricut Create, refer to a previous post when I first got them. With a new Create (had to get a replacement because the first one just didn't work), I did the 'thank you' and the palm trees. A little adhesive & spray glue. Then there is the eyelets, with a 50% off coupon from Michael's I purchased a Crop-A-Dile and some eyelets....and VOILA! Name a date and time and we can create some tags for you. I need a day trip anyways! My hanger comes from - einspanner I liked his also because he replied very quick when I asked a question, he creates and ships within 48 hours of payment and yeah I like the wood also. He offers three different woods and three different color wires.
  4. Yes I suffered from that also, it's called Got-a DIY-list-that-continues-to-grow-everyday-I-log-into-BDW....the cure, well hell, idk, LOL. I had to just buckle down and do it!!! It helps that there are a lot of girls on the site that speaks wedding talk. Before I do anything in bulk, I make one (of whatever) take a picture and pass it around. Take suggestions and run with them all. I suggest you do at least a first one, it will allow your self sometime to sit on some projects and see if you are still in love with it 1 month, 2 months, 4 months. Rather doing something and then decide you don't care for it, then you are out of time to change it. As for Easter, thank goodness my colors are autumn/Halloween, GREAT selections - on sale, LOL
  5. WTH MAN!! Why am I just seeing this....I OVER them. I wonder if she can rush them.....*sigh
  6. I have a pair of Navy shoes that I plan on wearing for the ceremony and then I plan on ordering the flat shoes that someone posted (the strappy sandals that benefit the women of south africa) and most likely I'll order those in navy or silver.
  7. Leigh - that picture is stunning. Your dress is gorgeous!!! How does did the wedding go?
  8. You can do it!!! Why don't you start the little things, so at 6 months you can just plow through the more time consuming things. Like, have you gotten all of your tools, paper, ribbons and such. I find myself running to Michael's every week (more like multiple times a week) because I ran out of this color paper, or geeze I found a tool that would do this prefectly.
  9. Wow, those are really nice. I like the shade of blue! Are you wearing blue shoes also Kellygrrl?
  10. Everything looks perfect, your guest didn't know that you were missing ribbons. I am so happy the WC was able to recreate your table, how stunning it looks. As for you, you looked ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! WORK IT, LOL. You look happy......I'm happy for you that all your hard work was such a great success. Now enjoy your MAN and get off the computer (IPhone), waiting on your review *WHEN YOU GET BACK TO THE STATES!!
  11. (Just ordered, so I don't have a pic of it yet) My band: His band: Yet I did get to get this pretty little number: And look what came for me through Etsy.... Please ignore my ugly feet. Waiting on my sand ceremony vases and shot glasses. Next up, travel mugs!!!! And printing (how fun).
  12. Next up flowers, completed mine and the ladies. Have to make bouts for the guys and corsages for the special guest (only 1, my mother) Excuse the sprite cans, the stems aren't quite wrapped yet. Question ladies, do I just wrap the stem in ribbon or should I purchase the Styrofoam 'thingy'? Bridesmaid: Bridesmaid 2 ( I am horrible at duplicating things, so they aren't exactly the same) Maid of Honour: And of course mine:
  13. Escort Cards: Tote bag tags: Ladies got cream ribbons and guys got orange ribbon ties.
  14. Good Evenig ladies...taking a break from my kitchen table where I am fastely completing many projects. Have done menus, programs, flowers, tote bag tags, and escort cards. Of course pictures are included.... Menus (Copied/stolen/borrowed/altered from Rebecca (Allurements by Rebecca)) Note the gummi bears, my super food! LOL Programs: (Thank you Janet!!!) Going to change the brad on those (found some wonderful chrome (shiny) at Michael's), beyond that they came out perfect. Thanks Janet for sharing!
  15. Well welcome Nicole!!!! You have walked in to a place where everything is doable and all questions have an answer too. Do you know where in Dominican Republic you are getting married? There are so many great resorts and this site will definitely help you make the best decision for you & your hunny. Feel free to ask any questions, I trust you that there is at least one lady on here that can answer them for you. Sometimes, I think the other ladies are better than having a wedding planner. They cross all the T's and dot all I's. Once again Welcome and I hope your planning process goes as smooth as buttercream frosting!
  16. I really like the first one. I love the color effect (texture) in the palm tree. I didn't know monograms were only supposed to have your initials, ours have our full name (OOPS )
  17. No problem! Sending an email now, with the free brochure link. Even after it claims to 'expire' hold on to it, it never expires. If you are looking for anything else, let me know.
  18. You UK girls get the good deals. We NEVER have free shipping in the US! I tried to order through the UK site once just to see if I could get the free shipping, LOL
  19. Good morning all fellow 'obsessed' brides - Today is the day, 10/8/11, the day we all have been waiting for and counting down with Mrs. T Gun, today is her wedding day. So let me be one of the first to wish you all the best. I know that you're wedding is one that your friends & family will remember for many days to come. We all sit here and wait for the pictures and post review as if this was the royal wedding and to some of us, this is as close as it gets. Afterall, our thoughts and good words were interwinded with your process the whole way. I KNOW that I can not only speak for myself when I say our 'sorority' of brides, are sending warm wishes to you in Montego Bay, many of God's blessings and hugs & kisses. We are passing you on to your new hubby because I know that we have taken up so much of your time leading to this day. We enjoyed every minute of it!!! Congratulations on your celebration!!!!!!
  20. I do have the emails. If you'd like I can forward them to you. They never expire.
  21. LOL, hahaha, like that would really stop you! I have 3 different accounts and I get 3 different types of emails all the time.
  22. I hate that I am not a Canadian bride b/c my friend Janet does not share these things with me. So I have to stalk the thread to see any other great things like these photos. Which are awesome!!!! You look gorgeous Janet!!! Your hubby will like mucho
  23. They will all ship in one order. They will all ship within 7 days, regardless of what speed you select. It doesn't take longer than 10 days, even on the 21 day ('slow') processing.
  24. I am soooo stealing your magnets (of course customize the colors) yet I love them!!!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful finds.
  25. No, don't wait (i'm sucj a bad influence) I did 14 in 2 days, LOL and I have a few more to go, then I will be done with wedding stuff (at least I hope, LOL)
