  1. Thanks, Ivan! Luckily I'm using products made in the US, but I will be sure to bring my invoice so I can show the real value (which is only $100). Your information was very helpful. Gracias.
  2. I was just doing some research and stumbled across some troubling news about shipping wedding favors to Mexico. Apparently they will confiscate packages with products from China. Have any of you shipped wedding favors to your destination in Cancun? Did you experience any problems? What service did you use? Did any of you just put favors in your suitcases or carry-ons? Mine are breakable and I'm afraid to do that. Any information you can provide would be very helpful!
  3. We personally plan on getting married in a courthouse before I leave for Cancun. We plan on doing it secretly and only bringing my grandmother since she is too old to travel and it can be our little secret! It'll help her feel included. My reasoning for it is that I don't want to waste any time when I get there. I should be enjoying my trip and relaxing, not giving blood and filling out paperwork for an additional $300!! Cancun has a two day residency requirement that they are very strict about and I don't want to take any chances either. I know people that have taken this route and said that it didn't take away from the wedding excitement at all.
