  1. This villa is too small for what you're looking for, but if anyone here is looking for a more intimate wedding, 50 people or less, I highly recommend this one: http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p263296 The owner, Steve, is SUCH a great help and it's very affordable. I've already booked it for mine, 18 months in advance! Hope you find something that suits your party size.
  2. I know this is an older thread, but it was great! Loved the different colored bags...yay for FIs named Brian
  3. I guess you'd pay for shipping if you're the one receiving them.
  4. Hi cbandemer, You are right, depending on what quotes you're getting, it might be cheaper to have the real thing or about the same price. Hope you find something that suits you!
  5. I love the way you were able to incorporate your culture into the wedding..beautiful!
  6. cbandemer, I think you first need to narrow down exactly what you want. See what the resort offers and then compare that to the price you could get from a real touch flowers vendor.... At the end of the day it all depends!
  7. I think it depends on what you want and the crowd. My sister's wedding had no dancing whatsoever, it was in a really gorgeous restaurant that had no dance floor (at least the closed off part where we were didn't), and it was still great because the place was so beautiful, the food was good and we were there to celebrate them. I say do whatever you want, and weigh in what your guests would enjoy - sometimes the best "entertainment" is not so obvious such as dancing, but something that is more meaningful or different from what they're used to. I don't really agree that wedding receptions are nothing without the booze and dance, I think that's what a night in town is like if you want to party...... a wedding is a celebration of two people coming together for life (hopefully) so...do as you wish!
  8. OK....for all the girls who are getting married on the beach, MAKE SURE this doesn't happen to you!
  9. So did someone have them or did the guy really steal them? Scary stuff....
  10. I'm actually surprised at how great the white bikini looks...you have a good taste!
  11. Thanks for sharing - your photog is amazing, loved the underwater picture!
  12. We really want to hear from more recent brides... feel free to jump in!
