Sandra told me she was away at the beginning of January.. Maybe she has already left and the "groups" email is her auto responce so any emails that get sent to her get dealt with while shes away? We do not want to pay extra. I have not responded yet as she emailed me a form to complete with everyone's room reservation numbers and I just received it back from our TA

Does anyone know regarding hiring DJ MANNIA I know you have to pay for day passes for him and his assistant $90 per person? (so $180) But does the resort wave the outside vender fee or is there an additional $300 fee on top of Dj Mannias fee and the day passes? Thanks Ladies -

This is all just peachy-keen - long wedding planning
bride2b2013 replied to Peach's topic in Blog Archive
Have you considered a small legal wedding at home involving your grandparents then a "symbolic wedding" down south? I keep reading about people having symbolic weddings downsouth which you have to be legally married and show your certificate before being allowed a symbollic wedding here. Its also a cheaper package then a legal one I believe ( it is at my resort ) Then your grandparents get to see you married but you also get the DW with anyone whom can attend and say I do in paradise .. Ive heard of a few brides that married legally at home but didnt tell any of their guests so everyone down south assumed they were just getting married at the resort I hear the wedding coordinator preforms symbolic weddings BTW.. Your do it yourself items are AWESOME! Great Job! -
Thank you I love DR.. We're Looking into Punta Cana. Im from Ottawa Ontario how about you? What all planning wise have you already been doing? And where abouts and when are you planning your wedding?

Hoping this thread hasnt been done already - If so I can't find it.... After viewing resort pricing for fresh flowers Id like to look into real touch or silk. I cant justify $65 a bouquet when the girls will only hold them for 15 minutes and dont get to keep them lol ( I have 6 bridesmaids ) so the price adds up! I realize real touch is also expencive but was hoping this thread could be used for people to post where they are getting their bridesmaid bouquets from and pricing.. So people can find the best deals to suit their needs *Online Venders with good pricing OR *Do-It-Yourself ( links to sites with good pricing for flowers and or good DIY instructions?) OR *Destination Brides looking to sell your bouquets after wedding? Just an Idea - I thought It would be good to see everyones point of view on the best route get input and find out other peoples choices and Ideas on the subject Thanks Ladies & Happy Planning

Sought after Ceremony times
bride2b2013 posted a topic in Destination Weddings in Dominican Republic
Random question. I've read about alot of brides that go to schedule the time for their wedding and have to settle for specific times during the day for their ceremony ( what ever is left available ) if they didnt book right away. My question would be.. In Dominican Republic, Punta cana Late January ( im not sure if the time of year or location actually matters or makes a difference ) what times of the day are the best for booking your ceremony? Like What are the first hours to get booked when people are scheduling their weddings? I assume it wouldnt be the middle of the day with the high heat but for someone who books a year in advance if alot of times are still available what hour in the day would you all suggest to be ideal and or hoping to get? Random question lol yes I know, I just have no idea what part of the day is best and will be booking a year in advance so if i have options on timing id like to have a better educated choice of what times of the day would be better. Anyones input is greatly appreciated! Thanks All! -
