We sent our short versions too

It depends on what resort you will get married at. All we did was sent our certified birth certificates and that was it. They never asked us to show originals. Also we got this piece of paper that was part of marriage certificate and I changed my drivers license and few other cards without any problems. Clerks sometimes don't know the difference LOL

I hemmed my dress for my sandals too, because I did not plan to walk in them and just have them for pictures

I know, our friends did not believe it either. I slouch a lot and he always stands straight (I guess army thing) LOL I was so glad I went with flat sandals, it is very humid and hot down there.... Heals would have killed me... I saw your shoes, they gonna look great!

You can bring photographer with you, but they need to stay on the site, day pass would not work, they are pretty strict about it. They called my photog and questioned her about her business... Me and other bride that I met on here, split costs of photographer and paid for her 4 night and her hubbies. In exchange we got our weddings shot and TTD shoot. We paid under 1300 each. I got about 1000 pics. Also there are some photographers that are building their portfolios and can do shoots in exchange of vacation, without charging extra. I hope it helps with your search. The whole deal with photographer took me the most effort. Good Luck!

Ohhh I love them, I had the same problem. My husband is 5'6 and i am 5'9. So there was no way, I could wear heels... But I got a nice pair for pictures and getting ready shots. And wore flat sandals at the wedding.

Thank you girls. We brought in photographer with us from home. I was too scared to trust Sandals Photographer. I find Sandals photogs are pretty cheesy and staged. I worked with videographer from Sandals and it is very cheesy haha

You should look for photographer that will take pics just for vacation! I did that. Me and another bride split the cost and paid under 1300 each for about 1000 pics. And pics turned out amazing.

My friend come to shoot my wedding and other girls wedding ( we slit the cost of her and her hubbys travel) and had no problem with that. Even though our resort does not let outside vendors. And it is great idea to Buddy up, saves lots of money!
