We are not bringing her as a photographer, we are bringing her a a friend ( well she is my friend now ) and she is staying at the resort with her husband. So she will be our friend taking pictures Many brides did that and had no problems, they would have more of an issue if I would get Jamaican photographer to come in and just get him/her a day pass. They would not let that slide. But they can't argue that our friend can't take our pics By ripped off she meant that 1400$ for 100 pics is a rip off

I agree with torilynnsmith!!! It is the case with my photographer too. I booked pictures with her for our engagement photoshoot to see how they will turn out and they turned out great. Then I booked BD photoshoot with her and it was awesome experience, also I got some family pics with my mom taken by her. I love her work, but she is just beginning and might not know some stuff. But I will provide her with pics folder haha and I am sure we will have a great time and our pics will turn great. Good Luck!!

We are bringing our photographer! Me and another bride on here, that will be getting married at the same resort two days later, got together and paid to my photographer who took my engagement pics, BD shoot and fanily pics to take our pictures at the resort. It turned out to be under 1300 each and she will take our pics the day of and trash the dress and any other pics we would want. I got so lucky with photographer issue. I could not just let it go and hope for the best. LOL what resort r u getting maried at? I hope ur pics will turn out great

Wow, that is weird!!! We had to send our birth certificates 60 days prior or we would get 150$ fine. For canadian some resorts ask for long version of birth certificates, ours did not. Here is our document requirement. I am sure you would have something similar since you are getting married in Jamaica too. I know it is for Sandals, but you would have same requirements. Marlena, we had a 60 day deadline for our birth certificates, so I would definitely look into that, I guess it depends where u r getting married too ...

I've been playing around with bachelorette party invites. (Do it myself, since I don't have bridal party) So I picked my design on paperdivas, filled it out, put everything I needed on it and at cheakout I pressed view larger and it opened in a large view, so I right clicked and did save as, saved it as an image and then inserted in the word document, played some more with it and I am going to get a card stock and print it.... I know I am horrible person, but I thought it might help someone too....

I paid 75$ to my photographer and 170 for studio for 3 hours. That was the most cost efficient way. Once I will get my pictures I will order an album. My FI had a glimpse of one of my pics today and was bugging for me to show it. I asked him to leave it alone... LOL But I think now he knows...

What everyone had been up to? We got FI wedding band, send our documents to WC, and booked photographer It was quite a thing to figure, but I am so happy we did.

OMG!!! That is horrible things to say. This woman is soo mean and heartless. I think you did nothing wrong. She agreed to be your bridesmaid, therefore she got herself into wedding preparations and discussions. I feel so bad for you in this situation, but she is quite delusional and unreasonable. If anything I would stay away from her.... You dont want people like that on you wedding day. You did a great job by taking care of their deposit, when you did not even have to. Maybe she is just jealous that she is not the center of attention? Poor thing... Let her be measerable and enjoy your wedding preparations She is not worth you getting upset or stressed....
