    Ouch, that hurts I am really sorry to hear that you had to go throught that. My mom is not coming to my weddding too. But don't get upset, as long as your FI is there it's all what it matters. I will be taking my mom out with some other friends to Chateau Laurier for dinner, so at least she would have some kind of celebration. Maybe you can do something like that too, so she won't feel completely unincluded. I know you are probably upset and don't want to think about it, but she is your only mother and I am sure she had some serious reasons to not to come to your wedding.

    I think it depends more on what you want to wear and your personality, I wore veil for my BD shoot, I had it on for about 30. Did I ever hated it!! I could not wait to take it off. LOL But I know myself if I wanted to wear one to my wedding, nothing would stop me I think you should just go with what you want, it is the only chance you will be able to wear one!!

    I like lighter colour too, I wanted to do white, but when i saw wedding pictures of one of my friends I changed my mind. She had an ivory dress and he has white suit. Her dress looked so yellow when they stood together, so I did not want that. Also I dont like how you can see pockets on white suits. Those two main reasons, why I did not go with white and went with beige

    Congrats and wellcome!!! It is absolutely doable. I got engaged at the end of July and getting married at the end of december. You will hear lots of negative words and comments, but dont let it get to you. Good luck with your planning! You will find plenty of useful info here

    Yeah, it does not leave you much time... Well I hope you can find something that suits you! My only issue with store bought cake toppers was that I did not want random people on MY cake haha I know a little crazy, but I could not help it

    Hey, If I would have to choose, I would choose Dec 10 or Jan 7. I am getting married on Dec 21, we leave on Dec 9 and I will have my bachelorette party on Nov 26. You don't want it to be too far in advance Hope it helps

    I think you being in Montreal will find way better deals in stores. I had a hard time finding some good stuff online for a good price, but try etsy, there were few nice ones.

    Wow, You got so many things accomplished!! I booked our hotel too, since we have to drive about 3 hrs to airport and we fly out at 7 am. We bought my wedding band and took our rings to get engraved. I got my wedding clutch, finalized my wedding add-ons and paid for them, now it is just little details left. And I am so excited to try my dress again tomorrow
