I tried on soo many dresses! My guess would be around 100 or more and way too many stores haha, I tried on a lot of dresses that I really liked but it took me awhile to find that dress that I fell in love with. It was frustrating at times because I did like so many but just didn't have that omg I love this dress moment. I am glad I kept trying them on because I did finally find that one dress that I love and cannot wait to get married in!

We are using Carribbean Emotions, Michael has been so great to communicate with and they have amazing prices. I have read so many great reviews on them which was one of the reasons we went with them. There were two other photographers that I absolutely loved their work but their prices were probably 3-4x as much and for us it just didn't fit into our budget.

Yes i will be wearing a garter. Its a New York Giants one because my fiance is a die hard fan and it is also my something blue!

Congrats philanab on becoming a Riu Palace Punta Cana bride hopefully! The wedding coordinator there is Maria and her sister Magnolia. My fiance and I did a site inspection there last March and met with Maria and she was great to work with and very helpful. If you have any questions I can help you with feel free to ask, I've been emailing Maria lately with a bunch of questions. Are you looking at any other hotels while you are there? Hi Lindsay, When Maria confirmed our reception at the Steakhouse she didn't mention the price of $1000 for the whole restaurant. I just know of the $600. I was under the impression that was to have it private but I am going to have to ask her. I don't think it includes anything, I think just to have it private....I could be wrong as I'm trying to figure out all these things too! Sorry if I wasn't much help haha

I turned 27 last month and FI is 31, he will be 32 when we get married

I am getting married at the Riu Palace Punta Cana June 2, 2012, we did a site inspection there last March and like MissNikki said it doesn't not have many or any garden areas at all that I remember. I believe the ceremony locations are the gazebo or the beach..we wanted to have a beach ceremony which is what we are going with. Yay swojdyla! Did they give you a confirmation # or anything or did they just say that the email was the confirmation? I too demanded lol a confirmation for the private reception, but Maria just said that the email is the confirmation...just wondering if she said the same to you... Glad its confirmed for you!!
