I would want a more exotic place where we could fly everyone and have a weeklong vacation to celebrate our wedding. Then we would go on a honeymoon to all the places we want to see before we die around the world.

RSVP'ing is a lost art, I totally agree. I will now NEVER EVER hold on to an RSVP card a minute longer than I have to, to know whether I am going or not. After not getting lots of ours back, I now know the stress it causes!

We have had problems with our TA as well. At first I thought we were just overwhelming her and I gave her a break. But then it became not hearing from her for weeks at a time when she said she would get back to us. Glad to know I am not the only one with this problem!!

Getting to spend a full day with my fiance....he is a fireman who works 24 hour shifts....that sometimes turn into 120 hour shifts without coming home. getting to see him after 5 days always makes my day!

Hi! Amber Hoekstra getting married October 15th, 2011. We are getting married in Southern CA, and for my Michigan family, they will be a long way from home! SO excited to have them all out here though! Can't wait

Forgot I also got my "I heart my fireman" garter from Etsy as well, for any of you brides marrying a fireman out there! It turned out really cute and I know my fiance will love it!! It will also be my something blue

I got my ringbearer pillow custom made from Three Yellow Finches! It has our initals, wedding date and a music lyric on it ("we're better together"). Don't have it in hand yet, but Lindsay is great to work with! And was willing to do any materials/colors I wanted! She was great. Keep up the posts with great finds!

Looks like the southern California brides are pretty out numbered on this site! wanted to make a few vendor suggestions for any of you out there... We are using Bruce Barrios as our DJ and he has been AMAZING. Has done wonders with our planning. Would recommend him to anyone. Also our photographer, Hello Studios has been wonderful to work with as well. Such great work. Hope this helps someone!!

Hey everyone! I know people are always looking for cheap bags so I wanted to recommend the website I ordered mine from. I had been looking for reasonably priced jute bags for a while that were a decent size. I finally found them on www.noblepacks.com. I ordered the lime green jute bags, in the larger size. They were perfect, and the price was not to bad. Worth checking out!
