I would like a personal message in a bottle inviting everyone to a welcome cocktail party. Then i also want to do a passport style booklet with info about Jamiaca, the wedding itinerary, and......?

Well it seems like you got your money's worth out of all the doubles you bought. I like the idea of being able to wear the shoes and jewelry again in everyday life. Nothing too over the top ya know. I will prob end up spending all my time on here....procrastinating writing my vows. It is so hard to put what i feel in my heart on paper. then have to say it aloud in front of everyone (I dropped out of speech class three times before i finally finished it as a summer class) I just had someone tell me that doing the RSVP on line saves alot of money. Did you run into the problem of some ppl not using computers and such? No I dont have wedding planner or travel agent. FI and i booked everyones flight and rooms ourselves online. Really wasnt hard. There were only two flights to choose from. At our resort you have to have more than 20 ppl to get any discount (we only have 11). So you like vistaprint? No problems or errors?

I met this girl last night that said at her wedding they just had a sign that said something like...In lieu of favors the bride and groom donated $ to _____ org. It seems to me that whatever favor your give ppl most will leave it there or throw it away. I like the idea of doanting money instead. I really liked the starfish wine stopper so i may include those in my girls OOT bags.

I was wondering what the one month letter was. So you sent everyone the luggage tags with pretty much a reminder/ get excited letter. I really like that method.

I really like the idea. My FI said it is weird and he had never heard of it even at all the weddings we has been to. I thought he prob just didnt notice. Any other suggestions from anyone on how to represent those passed away?

Hi nikki welcome. this site is a life saver for me. All freinds and family were invited to DW by mouth. Iam still thinking about sending actual invitations closer to the date but we had to tell ppl so they could get passports and what not. We are having AHR and i will but have not yet done STD's and invitations seperate than DW invites. I still want to stay with a travel/beach theme for AHR in pittsburgh in November. (screw tradition) For DW we went AI (all inclusive) It is much easier to plan and budget that way. we basically told our guests its from this date to this date. some have chossen to stay longer. I didnt want to be at the same resort for our honeymoon cuz #1 we have been there before #2 I didnt want anyone else coming up o our room or whatever. So most of us are on the same flight down. My dad is going a day earlier so i will have him take OOT bags and they will be ready for all other guests when they get there. we arrive wed. wedding is friday. Most guests leave sun. At that point my FI and i will drive from Ocho Rios to Negril. As far as planning goes... most resorts have awesome web sites. I wouldnt spend too much time comparing. It confuses things. adds stress. Congratulations!
