I love your dress! It reminds me a little of mine

I am thinking of getting mine soldered as well. The channel setting on my e-ring and band don't go all the way around, so if they spin a little (which they do when my hands are cold) they won't line up right.That kind of stuff drives me crazy! Do you know how much it costs to do that?

So I ordered a Mrs. Ruzzi hanger from Etsy and also got one for my shower from one of my bridesmaids. Any ideas on what to do with 2 of them?

I agree. Don't take the beach into account. I was down to 2 dresses one beachy and one more traditions and I asked my mom "if I wasn't getting married on a beach which would you pick?" I now have a full on traditional wedding dress... NOTHING about it says beach, but I love it, I feel beautiful in it and I've come to terms that I'm going to sweat. A lot. Go with a dress you love,

I LOVE the first one, but the 2nd one goes with the style of your dress better.

David's Bridal you can order the dresses but you can also buy off the rack, so you have a lot more time! Also, they can do alterations there so if you go soon and loose weight they can adjust your dress. I didn't buy my dress there, but my dress has to be taken in and its not a problem. You can also look at corset backs which allow some wiggle room for weight fluctuation.

Anyone who gave out welcome bags at the resort, how did you do it?

Not only do I have a lace up dress, but my bridesmaids (5) of them have them as well! I feel like we're going to have to make a big circle to get each other dressed. It will be a good pic. I liked the way the corset fit me and we all don't have to worry about broken and stuck zippers.

Thanks, Marid! That was great. We are doing a beach ceremony and reception at the pool. We did extend our reception by an hour at my FI insistence. I tried to tell him we didn't need to but he pushed for it so I gave in. We will head over to the disco afterwards, I don't see us going to bed until after 2a. Our ceremony is at 6:30 though, so its a late start. We are staying at the Royal Service and made sure my travel agent didn't book anyone else there so we would have our privacy. My dad is staying the entire time we are there so we need it! We are doing a rehearsal dinner as well, thanks for the heads up, I think we have slightly over 20 people. I am having the rest of the guests meet us in the lobby afterwards for drinks. I am officially at the less than 2 month mark, I am getting really excited!

I am renting it as well so I don't have everyone getting ready in my room. I didn't think it was ridiculously expensive and they do provide food and champagne.

I think I'm crazy--- we are doing one per person and we have 58 guests. We have about 15 single people coming and I thought it would be too confusing to determine which singles are rooming together and not. It wound up being about $10 a bag but we aren't doing favors.

We chose not to do favors on top of welcome bags. I am spending way more on the welcome bags than I would on favors. I think skipping on favors is fine.

that is such a shame, I feel like the hotel is going to lose a lot of brides because of this new policy. I was lucky enough to book my wedding in 2011 so we won't incur the fee. You could bring your own photographer and it looks like you would get around the fee.

I got my girls passport holders as well. (and one for myself!) I am going to give it to them before we go so they can take full advantage of them
