    I was actually talking to my mom about this today. I'm going to have to think about this one. I would love to put out a basket of flip flops but thats another thing to worry about packing:(

    I noticed you live in NY are you near the city? Theres so many great accessory stores in midtown and soho. I would just walk around and see what you find!

    Unfortunately, I think since it was a sample sale you are probably only entitled to what you originally agreed on purchasing. However, I think if you are persistent the store should give in:) Just keep on them!

    I really would like to treat this as just signing paperwork but I have a feeling it will be more then that. I'm just worried this will take away from our ceremony day in my mind but of course I hope it doesn't.

    My fiance and I have attended probably around 20 weddings in the past 4 years. I just wanted something different:)

    I think I want to do the legal ceremony here but am scared of people finding out. I don't want people to get annoyed that they flew all the way to Mexico and we are already legally married. I really don't want the hassle of blood tests and translations.

    I would register. I can't wait to register! Where I live people give presents for the shower and only money for wedding gifts.

    I agree with the ladies. I have actually never heard of guests paying for themselves at a wedding.
