  1. Thanks for the info Jemma! That's what we noticed as well, I emailed our WC this afternoon letting her know of our choice. She had also provided us with a thematic dinner option, which was a private buffet dinner. I'm not too sure where they hold it though. We decided to go with dinner at Alrequin and a poolside reception. January 17 is soo close! Congratulations! You must be getting excited! Where are you having your ceremony?
  2. I think if you send them a picture of what you want they will most likely be able to match it. Be weary of the price as other brides have mentioned. The sooner you get it over with the better! Good Luck!
  3. I was at Dollarama the other day and they had imitation bubba kegs for $2.00/ea. I'm going to go back and get one to test it ou before I commit. I'll let you know what I find! Hope everyone had a good Christmas/New Years!
  4. have any past brides done the private "thematic" dinner or dinner at Arlequin?
  5. Great photo’s!! Thank you for sharing!! Both you and your hubby look fantastic.
  6. Great choice! Very Unique!! Congrats on choosing your dress!
  7. all this talk about wedding songs made me buckle down with my fiance and make some decisions. Of course Adam didn't like most of my choices :-) We decided on Make You Feel my Love by Adele for when I walk down the aisle. For the signing, Mine is yours by cold war kids. And for when we walk back down the aisle, You've got the love by Florence and The Machine. we still need to figure out what the bm's will walk into as well as our first dance. we were going to use you've got the love but its not an easy song to dance to.
  8. Congrats Megz! Can't wait to read your review and hear mroe about your wedding!
  9. amjohnson - both dresses are absolutely stunning! Like the other girls said, whatever you decide to do with your hair will look great. and becasue both dresses are different I don't think it will matter if you do the same hairstyle twice.
  10. Have you looked at bridal stores or where you bought you dress? The place where I bought my dress had lots to choose from. Good Luck!
  11. Butterfly67 - you look FABULOUS in your dress! Congrats!
  12. Sunshine2680 - Thank you for the info, we were to have our wedding at the gazebo. I’ll be sure to ask our WC about it. Hope your parents enjoyed themselves.
  13. Congrats JBean, the photo's are amazing and so is the dress!
  14. Yay Congrats! Mine came in last Friday, I got to take it home much to my hesitation! lol
  15. Welcome! So much useful information here!
  16. I am in the same predicament! how many bridesmaids do you have? I’ve been going back and forth about what I want to get them for a while now! I was thinking something personal to each of them, but can’t seem to find anything just right. Where did you get your necklaces and earrings?
  17. Has anyone received their flight itinerary yet? We keep asking our travel agent and she FINALLY got back to us and said it wasn’t available.
  18. Congrats! Hope you have a FABULOUS time! Can't wait to hear all about it!
  19. StylishmeNC - I thought that same thing when I saw their look book for the flowers! It looks so outdated. I wanted a bouquet of roses (pretty basic I know!) in my colours and I sent them a picture of a bouquet that I wanted and added a few small changes like less of one colour and more of the other. I was told they would paint the flowers to match my colours and acknowledged the small changes I wanted Jazmin was really good about it.I think when you meet with her she will also go over it with you in person to confirm the colour and the arrangement. My wedding isn't until May so I'm not sure how it will turn out. I'm also making a Brooch bouquet now so I'm only using that bouquet for the toss lol. In regards to the Ocen viewing room you should be able to request this through your travel agent. From my understanding if you've upgraded to the Golden Jr. Suite this should gurantee you a room with a view of the ocean. The upgrade was only an additional $40.00 for our guests and free for us because we were the bride & groom. Hopefully my input helps! Good luck with your planning.
  20. Hope you have a wonderful time! Can't wait to read your review I'll keep my fingers crossed for no rain!
  21. Jamie5280 - you put it perfectly! None of my family is coming except my mom and dad and sisters, it was hard for me accept that at first. I found myself surprised by a few of the people who actually did book. At the end of the day it makes me grateful that so many people are willing to come to our wedding, most of which aren't our families. But everyone who is going to be there is there for the right reason! I hope more of your friends/family book soon! Like Allie, we had to have our guests booked by Mid October for the group rate. The flight that we're taking was already sold out by August, so the seats we reserved were all we could get at the time. I looked on Air Canada's website last night and they now have flights leaving 6th but it's much more expensive..
  22. That will look Ahhmaazzziinng in your photo's! Are you any closer to making a decision?
