Congrats on your 5k! Great accomplishment! Are you going to run a half now? I went from a 5K to a half and can't wait to run another one! It's hard work but so worth is when it's over!

Oh and I almost forgot my dress finally came in!!!!! So I'll be heading to pick it up this weekend. I did notice that she ordered a size larger than we discussed so I'm not looking forward to see how much alterations are going to cost but I'm going to bring it home with me and have a lady here do them because she's always cheaper and faster than the dress shops are. Next weekend we are having our "secret" wedding here in Texas and one month from today we will be putting on the show for all the family and friends!! Wow time has flown by and there's still so much left to do! Ready for a cold beverage by the pool!!

I put in all caps in the subject line of my email to him the date and place of wedding and he responded to me withing a couple of hours. Might try that. I spoke with Cherry Blossom as well and didn't get the warm fuzzy feeling so it's good to know that they are telling brides now to pay the fee if they are not comfortable delivering there. Stalk away!!! Jillian had to take a back seat the last week and a half I had a vicious case of bronchitis so I just lounged around every night. I had to make sure I was ready for my PARTY! Hahaha! But I'm getting back on the wagon tonight. And I'm sure I'm going to die! Being on your feet for 12 hours is enough exercise!! So yeah I probably wouldn't let her kick my rear anymore. Ha!

Thanks ladies!! We really had a great time taking them. The Texas shirts are the colleges that we went to and they are rival schools so we thought we would incorporate that. The grooms cake at the AHR will be a "House Divided" cake and one of these will be displayed beside it. If you are in the Central Texas area looking for a photographer I highly recommend Lahra Bryant. She was amazing to work with! My FI had a run in with the car door the night before taking these and she took time to edit the scab off most of the pictures. Here ya go! Travel Brochure.pdf

Get the store brand, I think mine were from Kroger. They don't have any logos on them. Go to the Dollar Store and get some there. Super CHEAP!

Good Morning Ladies!! I had my bachelorette party this past weekend and we had such a BLAST!!! I would highly recommend a wig party if you have them in your area. We were able to take in our own booze and snacks so we drank and danced around, tried on vintage clothes and had our "hair" and makeup done, then had a photo booth session with a photographer. Then we went to a club afterwards on 6th street in Austin, which if any of your watched The Real World several years back you would have seen this area. So much fun! Here's a picture of me dolled up. We should have the professional ones back at the end of the week and I'll post one of the group.

We are meeting with our WC 2 days before, but we are also having a symbolic ceremony so no blood test and paperwork. Be sure to ask to make sure though.

Also here's the fonts I used on the boarding passes....Angelina, Bradley, Tropicana ( flip flops, sunscreen, palm tree), Ocean_Iacy (shells & starfish), Hibiscus and Tempus Sans. The fonts for Tropicana, Ocean and Hibiscus I got off of datfont and these were free, just have to download on your computer.

Congrats and welcome back! Can't wait to read your review. Coco and I have been having side bar conversations on shoes. I guess you could say we are both self proclaimed "shoe whores". Anyways I finally found exactly what I have been looking for, which started last fall after I picked colors for the wedding. I wanted a turquoise heel, summery with open toe. I search the internet, every shoe store I passed by, etc, etc. Last week I had almost given up hope and was almost bought a cute pair of flip flops with fabric rosettes & crystals. BUT.....we had our campus Earth Day Celebration last Wednesday and I'm doing my thing talking about the environment and what our students could do on campus to be better stewards and a student walks by with these shoes that was everything I had imagined! So I kept my eye on her "stalked" to see if she was getting close to where I was. She stopped at the booth next to me and I basically verbally attacked her with questions about these shoes. She bought them at Charming Charlie's which is an accessory shop (in case you don't have one) and she told me she had just purchased them and freely told me they were about $35. Score!! So I stopped on my way home that evening to check them out. They had 2 pairs left and one in my size. I can't tell you how excited I was that I had finally found these shoes and they fit perfectly. Not too high, not too short, perfect color, etc etc. So when Coco asked me last night if I had found them I had to tell her my story and then said I would post the picture for all to see. So here are my super cheap but perfect shoes for the wedding. Excuse the bread in the back. I was in the process of getting dinner made for the sticky kids. Hope everyone's have a great week!

Coco what size blume boxes did you get? I was wondering how that worked out for you but looks like not so well. I seem to remember maybe it was Kelly that also used them and it didn't turn out so well. Was it just the length that was the issue or fitting inside them too?

Hey Dan we are getting married at the Bugambilias Gazebo and we have our cocktail hour set up at the Garden right next to it and then our reception will be at the Bugambilias Terrace which is right next to it. Zaray said that it's all close together and that's where they usually have the outside events tied to that Gazebo. She said it's very beautiful out there. Looks like you guys are getting married a few weeks after us so I'll let you know when we get back.

shan0487 thanks for the flower contact. She gave me a very reasonable quote. Less than a $100 for 3 bridesmaids bouquets and delivery charge. But now I worry a little if they can get in the gate. I'm going to email her to ask if they have delivered there before. I'll let you know what I find out. Thanks for the heads up on the gate issue for the flower delivery! I would have probably gone bridezilla on the day of if they couldn't get through. Ha! You flowers were so pretty. I might have to try and contact Marvin again depending on what the other place says about delivering to MP before. I started the 30 Day Shred this week and let me tell ya my muscles are screaming at me after 2 days of it, but it's all going to be worth it when it's over and that dress is fitting like a glove. After looking at the pictures from trying it on I saw a little back fat and that was TOTALLY NOT HOT!! So it's on like donkey kong and I'm making that fat cry every day until we leave! Which is 41 days away!

Congrats to summerdawn, beatyea & Coco from the couple of pics you all looked AMAZING! So glad to hear that all went well with all of your days. Can't wait to read your reviews and see more pictrues! I did finally hear back from Zaray this week. She apologized for not emailing sooner but said she was "busy serving April and May brides" so that made me feel better. She answered all 8 of my emails. On-sites seem much better than Miami for sure! I am a little stressed over what to do about bridesmaid's bouquets. $126/bouquet is just WAY too much to pay the resort! I really didn't want to use artificial and haul down there but I don't know. Wasn't too impressed with Marvin and his lack of communication. Any suggestions? Shower back home went well. It was good to see some family that won't be able to make the Mexico trip. Next weekend is my bachelorette party on Cinco de Mayo. The girls and I will be heading to Austin for a "Wig" Party and then hitting 6th Street when we are dolled up. I'm so excited about this! I will post pics of our crazy "do's" when we get back.
