Tori...are you using the same photographer for your TTD as well as your wedding photos?

welljenn i tried to view your photos, it keeps saying it is expired. is there a way to view them?

Me thinks I found the PERFECT TTD and reception gown....I decided to go with two dresses...one that I will wear to go all out in...and one so I can dance/spin and feel happy in and Trash. Im wearing both dresses for my TTD I NEEDED a second one cause we are literally TRASHING it! And I dont think I will have the heart to trash my wedding gown....I want to sell it so I can make another bride happy! So here the one I am considering for the 2nd

Awww...my ring has been in the shop for WEEKS being resized...when I first got measured they said my ring size was a 7....got my ring and it was sliding all over the place! So they resized me and it was all the way down to A 6... They resized it...but it didnt pass their quality inspection so they had to RE-Send it and the waiting game continues. Its weird cause when i say "my fiancee" they automatically look at my ring finger....aaaannnnddd its empty ...then I have to go into the..."no..I have a ring but...." which doesnt sound good! LOL! But ANNNNYYYWWAAAYYY...heres my ring ...i miss it....

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Louboutins and if I could afford them I would wear them on my wedding day....its soooooo been a dream of mine to have some red bottoms in my wedding photos (might just have to paint it....lol) sooooo...my choice is #2 too!

Yeah, he's always left everything up to me, but he sees me being stressed out over it and ready to throw in the towel,since I never wanted a wedding anyway....I just wnted to go to the courthouse but his family wouldnt allow that. While we were dating I told him if I ever HAD to have a wedding it would be a destination wedding, I didnt want a local wedding and I knew all the little details would stress me out, so here we are. I setup our engagement photos, picked the photographer, created the Save the Dates, the resort, argued with vendors about pricing...... I just wish he would pick up SOMEthing. I know if I asked him he would TRY to do more...it just feels like its me against the world. All my bridesmaids are in California...along with my family and friends so no help with the DIYs. I work 2 jobs, have 4 year old (he'll be 5) thats starting Kindergarten in a couple of weeks AND planning a wedding. It's just getting to be too much and I dont want to drop the ball anywhere. I dont think he understands what a task/challenge planning a wedding and taking care of all the little details is to me..... I know you all know where Im coming from...

KRSsmith...yup, I noticed that!!! My fiancee was dead set on Valentines day and we turned down a lot of resorts when they said they didnt have the date free!!! LOL! Are any of you ladies FI' s helping much with the planning??? My FI proposed and threw the ball in my court!!! LOL! Trying to figure out a way to get him to be more active

Another possibility for BM dresses is to rent them online. I have used this website whenever I want to wear a fancy dress but didnt want to pay the fancy pricetag. I am excited about my sand ceremony, we are personalizing the wording as we both have kids and want to incorporate them into our sand ceremony reminding them that they are being blended and unified in our eyes as well. Once we finish I will post, I hadnt seen to many personalized sand ceremonies, since we arent doing our own vows I thought it would be meaning ful.

Morning Ladies!!! I have been shoe shopping for the perfect pair of shoes (guess I should find a dress first ) but I am obsessed with finding a nice pair of Christian Louboutins (red bottom shoes) and it was a must have for my wedding day (shoes might not happen but Im still looking LOL)!!! So for all my shoe lovers out there (this means you Tori) I was wondering if you checked out 6pm.com. I work in a department store (Belk) in the Ladies shoe department (one of two jobs) and some of my customers say they shop there a lot. I took a look and they have great shoes at grear prices (even lower than what my store offers them for). So I just wanted to put it out there in case some ladies are still looking. They dont have my CLs....but they do have some nice quality reasonably priced shoes out there!

FINALLY booked pastor Rick York for our ceremony, he just sent us our ceremony wording and I literally was behind my desk, mine and my FI great moments together and envisioning all the future ones we will have and it brought me near tears at my desk! I cant wait to have him perform our ceremony!

Samantha...I think the sash looks great how it is...not sure if the chocolate would add...I feel like it would take away some of the elegance of the dress....but remember...that's just one opinion...go with what YOU like That gown is GORGEOUS! I absolutely LOVE it!!! you are going to be one stunning bride!

Awwww...I guess everyone had the same thoughts about DW....it was my "compromise" with my FI, I wanted to get married at the courthouse...total cost like $20...but this DW is getting out of hand... Flights, hotel stay, ceremony, reception, flowers, photographer, resort "extras" cost I honestly am ready to just throw in the towel and say forget it....but we're already too invested now...so i guess I will just suck it up and remember its supposed to be our day.... MY budget was $5000, right now we are at $10,000...and at the rate we're going I can see us hitting $15k by the time we say, I do

I was supposed to go look at wedding dresses yesterday with my future sil...but ym FI daughter's track meet ran over time and we didnt make it....so the search continues...I am SOOOO enjoying reading everyones post on this thread, keep the dresses, the emotions and the pics coming!! I cant wait til I have that "feeling" and finally find my dress I saw a couple of dresses on Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta...but their budgets are always so much higher than Im willing to spend. Also, I watched Amsale girls last night with the FI daughter (she'll be 12 soon) and we kept looking at the dresses shaking our heads together like..."$4000...for THAT...why"??? LOL! Fun times with her...cant wait to get her her bridesmaids dress and do some more bonding!
