  1. Centerpiece are the only real flowers I will have.... I opted out not having real flowers for my bouquet or my bridesmaids. We are having 3 receptions - Mexico, my hometown & his hometown so I thought it would be a waste to have 3 sets of flowers die on us. I made myself a brooch bouquet and my bridesmaids similar ones but with seashells. http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/76565/diy-brooch-bouquet-tutorial-lots-of-pics
  2. Hi Ladies, I am currently on hunt for 50 Table Runners & Chair Sashes in Royal Blue, Lime Green or Fuschia. I'd be glad to take them off your hands!!!!
  3. Everything is on the beach ceremony & reception starting at 4 PM. I just pray that we don't all roast alive out there in the sun. We are at about 32 guests and counting right now. It has been a real pain trying to get our guests to book ahead of time. We are a little over three months out and I still dont have all my immediate family booked. GRRRRR!!!! I found another florist that another BDW bride reccomended and will be asking them for a quote. http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/17108/royal-playa-del-carmen-brides-were-kids-allowed-for-the-day-and-other-questions/9220 Floreria Sac-Nah Address: 30 Ave. Mz. 119 Lt. 1 Esq. Calle 16 Col. Gonzalo Guerrero Telephone: 873-0259 or 803-225 Email: [email protected]
  4. rsososept - Where did you order your chair bows from? Also, thank you for the Florist info! $35 is the best I have seen on BDW yet. Marvin was quoting me $65 for this I can't wait to see what they will quote me.
  5. Oh thanks! Pinterest Weddings are always nice...but its a rude awakening when my WC tell me what the prices are from my Pinterest wedding dreams.
  6. Hi Maggie, I'm planning to wearing my hair down too. Unless I’m at the gym I never wear my hair up, so for our wedding day I want my FI to recognize me and wear it down. My game plan is to go ahead and schedule a hair appointment to do my hair. If it is a too hot of a day or too windy I will have them put it up. If it's a perfect day i'll just have them curl it a bit.
  7. We are having two at home receptions. One in California in July and another in Illinois in September/October. Does anyone have wording for two at home recpetions??? Please post a pic if your invite & RSVP if you can. MANY MANY THANKS!!
  8. Hi Lily, I don't think that is true..http://weddings.realresorts.com/PlanningIdeas/Documents/ It doesn't say anything about witnesses NOT to be related to the bride or groom. You better confirm with the WC not the travel agent.
  9. Hey Lindsay, I totally agree with you that the resort's centerpieces is not anything special...and so pricey too! My WC quoted me $60 - $70 per table Here is what I'm hauling down for my centerpieces.. I put this together for $17 per table. I bought everything you see here from dollartree.com, ebay & Wal-Mart. I'm more than 3 months out and i'm starting to feel panicky myself! Be sure to take lots of pictures of the north beach for me!
  10. Beautifuly done! Is your reception indoors or outdoors? I'm just afraid about the floating candle being blown out...
  11. You looked beautiful with a long veil on the beach! I may have to go for it too.
  12. Ebay. This is the seller I bought from. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Giant-Sugar-Starfish-10-Beach-Cottage-Nautical-Decor-/270679959656?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f05c86868
  13. http://www.jasminesbridalshop.com/ They are also on Facebook, lots of pics of there work on there.
  14. Hi Ladies, For those that are getting married later than 4 PM, were you required pay an additional $400? My WC at the Gran Porto said if I wanted to delay the beach ceremony later than 4, it would be an additional $400. Also we had to be off the beach at 10 PM.
