    I've taken a lot of business courses, and one idea that has stuck in my head and I try to always stay aware of is to let others talk. Most people feel they've had a terrific conversation if you ask them a lot about them, and allow them to talk. So, my advice....enjoy chatting about your happiness but always make sure you spend some time asking them about how things are going in their life.

    Hey, I'm curious as to what you ended up doing with this issue? My problem is that my family is Roman Catholic (super strict!), I'm not really practicing and my FI is atheist. I'm happy to do a beach wedding with a non-denominational minister, but my mom is really pushing for a catholic wedding. Are there any priests in Mexico that actually do perform beach ceremonies?

    Hey ladies, Thought I'd see if there are any other girls out there whose men work out on the rigs, and therefore are away all the time and have crazy unpredictable schedules. It's quite common here in Alberta, but I'd like to know how some overcame the planning stress without their guy around to help out. Hope to find some others with my situation out there! ~M

    Where in Mexico did you book, we're thinking about looking in the Tulum area as we've stayed in Playa del Carmen a few times and want to be futher from the town.

    I'm in the same boat as you, we just got engaged a couple weeks ago too and are thinking spring 2012. I'm shocked how far in advance most people have booked, and my FI wants to put planning off for a bit so we can finish landscaping our yard. Panic is setting in!
