  1. Hey Tanya! Did the hotel provide you with candles? Small tea light candles or votive candles? My coordinator said they don't provide votive candles, is that right? Tabby
  2. Sharkyak: The wedding that all happen in one day are all different times and so they can arrange it all one after the other... but most of the time there are definitely not 6 weddings in a day. The times are available but 6 weddings does not happen ... You should fill in your request for you events now and give it to you wedding coordinator so that they verify it for you and you are all set. Did you already get assigned? If not, call the hotel or your contact (even group wedding travel agent could help) to get your wedding coordinator. They will send you paper work that you can fill out and send them ...

  4. Hey Tanya They do charge for the Cielo Terrace set up though dont they? I thought that was like $6pp or something. Did you have your cocktail hour there? The ceremony is at the beach, they dont charge for that either. Cool! These people confuse you at the Miami office... you see all kind of charges on the contract too the whole $6pp on the Cielo Terrace ... the other charges at the reception. But maybe you are right that is if you get a collection which we are getting sorta. We are coping the Amethyst collection with the lines and chuppa lines etc. so maybe that is the charge I am seeing. I am so lost... LOL! But its good to know what you did and didnt do. HELPS SOOO MUCH! BTW where did you have your morning after breakfast? There is a inside option? -Tabby
  5. We are actually getting a a two hour extended reception and paying for it too in the Riviera Ballroom at the Playacar. A DJ as well (i hope he will be good) and the lighting for reception. They better give us our private bartender. Shoooooo!
  6. At the reception you are getting one bartender i was told. So even if you do an extended cocktail you should get one bartender for your reception. Am i wrong?
  7. Hey Tanya, Thank you. Do you by any chance know if they hotel takes the welcome bags to the guests rooms? I heard they might charge for each welcome bag, that is fair i guess. :-I Did you do welcome bags by any chance? I dont know if I should give them out at the Welcome Dinner or give it to the hotel... I am turning Wedding CRAZYYY! Lol! hehe!

I cannot wait that long, i have so many questions and do not know where to turn. Anyone remember when the wedding coordinator contacted you?   13. Would the hotel charge you if you were to bring your own table cloth and sashes etc? Did anyone have that issue or did you take your own decorations? Did you have to pay? I hope not
  14. Hey everyone, I am getting married at the Playacar Palace on May 20 2012 and just had a question if anyone knew the answer to it. I am buying my own table clothes since I want a specific color etc... and just wanted to know does the hotel charge you to put that stuff up for you or how does that work? If you rent from them you obviously pay them but if you bring your own would they charge you for that? Does anyone know??? I dont have a wedding coordinator yet to ask them so i am hoping someone knows... :-I Thank you guys!!!! Tabby

  16. Can anyone send me pictures as well of your beautiful wedding at the PP? I have been trying to get example of pictures that the wedding package provides but i cannot get anything out of them. I am scared my pictures will not turn out good and then i will cry. I just want to see portofolios of the photographer that will take our pictures. They are making it really hard for me to get them, so frustrated. If anyone is kind enough to send me some of their wedding pictures at PP that their photographer took i will would be FOREVER GREATFUL!!! Or even a link i can look at your pics again FOREVER GREATFUL!!! Thank you in advance Tabby
